To install Oreo 8:
1. Install HiSuite https://consumer.huawei.com/minisite/HiSuite_en/
2. If HiSuite ask to upgrade - do it.
3. Save or backup data and files on the phone.
4. Connect phone to the PC and allow HiSuite to make changes.
5. Search for new firmware.
6. Update firmware.

Battery timing is so good that it could stand for a day on normal usage . You're battery is dead , go to honor franchise and get your battery replaced there.....!!

Hi,
A couple of days ago a bought a second hand Honor 8. It's in pristine conditions except for the battery. It discharges without warning. Earlier today, I took 6 photos. Battery was at 98% when I started taking the photos the after taking the 6th photo, the phone switched itself off without any warning. Battery was dead. I've tried factory reset but that hasn't changed anything. Is the battery dead or is there anything else I could try. Would much appreciate any advice you nice people could give me. Many thanks
