All other UI works much faster and lag free .
Its heavy and slow . It makes brilliant Samsung phones unusable you always need a launcher for Samsung phones .

The notification shade is worse than the one on iOS, Settings app looking like it's been dragged across a forest, design inconsistencies everywhere, outdated animations and so forth.

The UI is just simply a nightmare for me. IMO, I would rather pay a little bit more to have a better UI/X.

I know a lot of people have no love for anything non-stock Android such as EMUI or TouchWiz.

EMUI is utterly cancerous. Looking like a bastardized iOS is one thing, but not allowing 3rd-party icon packs to be applied is another. If you chose to install a launcher and/or an icon pack, then good luck changing those ugly skeuomorphic, rounded icons. One. By. One.

Also, I think Honor 8 has only 4GB of RAM with 32/64GB (storage) variants.
