Please, can you, with step by step tutorial, help me return my phone to its stock rom firmware. I never liked custom rom for once

and phone it self check for updates.
but if you have r ooted your phone, this will stop your phone from being able to receive OTA update from your manufacturer, so can't help you,
google for that option for guidance.

you must have received a notification to upgrade the android and software of the phone because there were many of them, now I don't know if it is possible to do it because the time has passed since May 2021, however, connect to the Wi-Fi network and the battery should be full or at least 80% and then go to
settings
-system & update
-software update
and the phone checks for new updates if there are any
- the last one was android 10 and EMUI 10.0.0.260
if you don't succeed you can also try with the ''HiSuite'' application installed on your PC or laptop.

My Honor 8x 128gb has no system update or I can't find it in setting. What then should I do update help me because the current version is 8.1.0 I want at least 9 Pie and above

you got it wrong, I still own an Honor 8X which is fantastic, 5 years of nice experience, i replicated that it's not worth paying to unlock EMUI to install harmonys update, because time is passing and it needs a new one and that's why I chose the Honor 100 pro which is almost identical to the Honor magic 5 pro which costs twice as much as the Honor 100 pro and for 450 euros it is a premium, something similar to when I bought the Honor 8X in 2018

Currently, it can run HarmonyOS 3.0 without any problems. My device was normally a European device, but after I converted it to the Chinese region, It received the Harmony OS update.

X9a plastic build, no gorilla glass + curved display = breaks easily and camera on my Honor 8x looks better. Larger battery, fast charge and a more powerful cpu aren't enough. Honor 8x and Honor view 20 were ideal and complete phones of that time. Most of midrange phones lack in an aspect or two like the plastic build which makes me sick buying a new phone nowadays. The only Phone I think is worth it to be called Honor 8X successor is Nothing Phone 2. Same build, TWO CAMERAS with ZERO non-sense design.
