just got an android 10 update this morning in malaysia pretty impressive just what ive been waiting for all this time but theres is slightly lag and when you tried to open the background task (im using a slide in gesture) it will be a white page instead of actual page so need to slide it a bit for it to show i guest its not stable yet in my region as for the perfomance the battery drainning slightly fast than android 9.1 pie.

    Got Major updated EMUI 10. Now feeling much smoother & fluid animation. Thanks for lag free experience Honor.

                    weird, and have you tried rebooting your phone,
                    sometimes it solves problems
                    and can you write your model from Honor 8X

                      You should be able to demand a refund after a failed update, it's no longer the product you bought, it becomes a useless piece of garbage. I'm tired of software firms testing their garbage on consumers like we are rats for experimenting. I'd like a soft that stays the same. And no, I don't think updates are essential, I've used a phone with a custom rom and no updates for 5 years with no problem, when it got completely broken, at the end of its life, it still worked like the first day I had bought it.

                        I've just got android 10 update, my phone is now a useless brick, incredible slow, crashing, app problems. I wish phones would never update, there's no need for it, it's the same thing plus the problems, I just did it to get rid of the update message that was pestering me.

                          I just got EMUI 10 and installed it.. it's amazing
                          very stable and battery lasts much more time than emui9
                          I recommend it to all
                          u can get it via check for updates from Support app or HiCare app

                            Got the EMUI 10 update in the Philippines. I'm still downloading now, and yet to install, but you could get the update via the Support app (formerly HiCare) when you check updates there.

                                  Been using the phone for a year now. So far so good, aim to use it for 6-8 yrs with it

                                    I dnt know if it's just me..
                                    But since the "9.1.0.273" update the battery is draining a lil faster.

                                    PS: I got 3 months with it now. Still a great phone, but I'm a lil worried bout it.

                                      SaaD RzX, 03 Feb 2020I am very hesitant do I buy Honor 8x or Redmi Note 8 ? not because I own it but be sure that you will be very very satisfied in every way, there are no flaws or problems it is regularly updated and it is faster and more than enough and it looks like 1000 euros, good luck in your choice, for me if I need to buying a new phone i would definitely choose it again
