As I'm looking at specs it's made of plastic and because of that it's cheap production that is the compromise for other good integrated things and again beside usb type c is not better than honor 8x , but your choice is good and I wish you to enjoy it and it is important for you to like it and that you are satisfied, enjoy in your Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. greeting

if you value the devices of just usb type c, then I see that you do not possess Honor 8x and you're probably a fan of xiaomi, but I'll say that mi2 is out of competition for a lot of value and its appearance is old-fashioned 5.99 ''screen, Mi 8 lite is closer.
The front of Honor 8x is 6.5" screen with highly modern look sports a huge 91 percent screen-to-body ratio — one of the highest we’ve ever seen on a smartphone, Honor has also redesigned the antenna on the Honor 8X to have up to 9-times stronger connectivity, and faster reconnecting after losing network access. The glass back is comprised of 15 layers of glass which catches light and refracts it, sending shimmering patterns across the back of the phone and it has quite a unique look, and it quickly grew on you ,but it's still there are advantages -NFC,- COF (cheap on flex)- battery 3750mah, sar value -072 W \ kg vs 1092 W \ kg, so keep your head from huge radiation.
In the end, I suggest if you are in the position to have it in your hand, will change its mind

why is that whenever I will take picture the quality is bad? example when I will zoom in the photo that I've taken it looks blurry. I always use the photo option

Both use the sd660 chipset and have near identical performance to the kirin 710, but they do in fact have the type-c connector. They're also slightly cheaper

And if you read my previous comments where I clearly indicate that it takes less than 1 minute for 1% charge, no one noticed.
Also I suggest that it is not good to empty the battery for less than 25 % or 0%, then full up to 100% means the best work is between 40-80%,and in that way the battery life is prolonged. How ever,the battery lasts a long time.
So the phone is rocket-fast and stylish and looks like a 1000 eur device

Is it still a good device to go for today? My sister will probably upgrade from Huawei Nova (original one), and she is taking a look into this one. Only thing which looks like a downgrade to me is Micro USB, while three year old Nova has USB type C. So yeah, does it really even matter considering everything else? Is charging time slow or fine, because I saw somewhere that it takes like two and a half hours for full charge, and I find it a bit slow.

is honor 8x good for pubg? because i'm gonna use it for gaming purpose only, my first choice was honor play however there's only blue ones in my country ( i dislike blue a lot). or there's other recommendation, most preferably the not so expensive ones.

for more sound effects,plug in the earphones, then go to settings and open sounds, then slide down to ''Huawei Sound Effects'', there is a new menu for more sound effects,- auto-3D audio- natural- standard -> Headset type, and Equalizer, i'm shure you will find a lots of fun.
