Pre-ordered my Honor yesterday. Hopefully I get it in a few days time. I thought I could deal with the problems that come with OriginOS on my Vivo X90 Pro+ (imported from China) but it's rough. Notifications from many apps like Telegram don't work in dark mode. Can't pay using my phone (NFC) because the X90 Pro+ is not on the certified phones list of the banking app - and it will never be certified because it's not meant to be used outside China. Battery life is rather unimpressive as well. Camera on the other hand is fantastic, and I do know I'm downgrading when it comes to that with the Honor Magic5 Pro... As much as I love taking pics with my phones, I've come to realize it's not the most important aspect of a smartphone. Thanks for reading.

    Dxo mark ranked 1 camera phone, however gsmarena shows artefacts in camera test around every dark object? How to understand this? One of the two is liar.

      While Sammy made the update available for S22 Ultra in Octobera, Honor started to push this in March which it's not OK since the A13 was released on August

            This Honor is nothing like Huawei reborn unfortunately, it's much worse. Huawei never made such mistakes.

A13 is already availa... moreEverything I have said is true except because it got Android 13 in April 1st, okay so basically 8 months after Pixel, 7 months after OnePlus, 6 months after Samsung and 3-4 months after Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo... even much later than Motorola which was the worst updating but Honor is way worse.

              They said it will receive Android 13 in October 2022 (there is even a GSMArena press release) they got it 6 months later... it took 12 entire months since its launch to get the first real OS update, that's shameful for a mid range but for their flagship costing 1.200€ lol it just shows they care 0 about support. Be wise and use rationale, you can't defend this no matter how much you love Honor. Their support is tr4sh.

That means bad QC internal build or bad cooling - possibily both if we look where this brand comes from. GSMArena said it in their review so there is no reason they would invent that.

                    Oh and the Magic 4 Pro is still without any Android 13 update, so the support Honor gives is 0 to none. I mean no one asks to monthly updates but they promised Android 13 in October 2022 and in April 2023, 6 months later, there is no update. In May 2023 Android 14 beta will start while their 1200$ flagship from 2022 has the 2021 software. It's shameful.

                        Still can pre-order through normal selling platform, but the price is USD 960.

                          Honor has no focus on battery life. See S23U 5000mAh battery and endurance rating 126hrs. This one 5100mAh and 109hrs

                                  Anonymous, 06 Apr 20236.8 inch is small . I will prefer 7.8 inchesMost smartphones biggest size is around 6.8 inches as standard. Previously have ever saw a phone that have size like a tablet (7 to 8 inch range). But now seems like no longer exist for a long time.
                                  Currently have a phone (which is a foldable phone) which can converted to a tablet and then can convert back to a phone.
                                  Really hope there is a comeback for a phone that have a size like a tablet.

                                        Idk if I should switch from S23 Ultra to this...
                                        Honor has bad software support with slow updates, 3.5x telephoto with low zoom capability, but in other categories it's much better.

                                        I purchased in my country for 500€ with a 24months subscription, but idk if I should keep it and sell my S23 Ultra..
