Why even bother releasing it? No one is going to buy this.

Who do they think is going to buy an Honor or a Xiaomi for these prices, with how bad their software is. Hardware hardly matters if your flagship phone from 2022 is stuck on Android 12.

I just don't wanna spend £1000 on a phone.

            If you can not buy it, then don't.

                  This seems ro be a real contender

                    The eSim it has is making me consider it. Yet I won't buy it, because it has no headphone jack, no radio, no SD card slot. Same company will provide all these I mention earlier in a low budget phones. So I consider this flagship phone a rubbish.

                      The DXO benchmarks are there highest respected ones. This Honor smartphone is second only to Apple on the video camera benchmarks.

                        Are Bluetooth specs correct only 5.2? I thought Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 support 5.3? Seems like a great phone regardless. Thanks to anyone who can clarify

Bigger battery, better display, much better camera sensor (IMX766 on the Magic 4 Pro was a midrange sensor and it didn't even have OIS for god's sake). Wtf else do you want?                                 Also why did they downgrade the wired fast charge from 100W to 66W ?
                                And the wireless charge got a 50% downgrade from 100W to 50W ??

                                Compared to the Honor Magic 4 Pro, they even made downgrades.

                                Where is USB 3.2 or Wifi 7 too? When will this get Android 14 , one year later after the important brands? It's March 2023 and the Magic 4 Pro (April 2022) still has Android 12 (September 2021) so seriously Honor, this is how you want to compete?

                                  LOL this Honor Magic 5 Pro is 95% the same as the Honor Magic 4 Pro, barely 2-3 improvements, the camera doesn't even have the 1 inch sensor yet, nor a 1440p screen.

                                  The Magic 4 Pro is still with Android 12 and it was launched 11 months ago, the update was announced half a year ago... but still no Android 13!!! These chinese brands definetly don't care about user support. They ask for 1.300€ / 1.400$ but the support is so lame...

                                  No wifi 7 yet, poor video recording, lame software... the back is uglier than a monster and the front is ugly asf with that extreme double hole. Another one straight to the trash can!
