They simply are fine with paying for cloud storage, like many people I know, for example. Not having an SD card slot isn't a deal breaker for 95% of people, and these days, it has been pretty much normalized for smartphones to lack the card slot, so even less people will give some thought about it.

          Why 19,5:9 aspect ratio screen?

            They ruined it by not having a slight curved screen which I like. What a shame.

              only samsung is left with S25U release ....... well id probably just buy the honor tho......gotta see the temperature test first

                Anyone else wonder why all the phones that uses Snapdragon 8 Elite, all have big battery capacity? They're all above 5000 mah, some over 6000. Is the chip actually not efficient?

No successor these days brings enough differences from its predecessor to actually make it worth getting when you've only had the predecessor for a year at best.

                      Periscoped with 60mm focal lenght will be the same disappointment like on Magic 6 Pro.

                            Essentially the same or rather uglier copy of M6P. At first I thought they'd atleast bring back the 3D ToF sensor in the rear cam with the new module like M5P. But no such luck. Same or actually ugly flat screen. A flagship with midship screen resolution. Basically no practical reason to get this if you have already M6P or M5P.

Like I have over 80k photos from all my previous devices and a lot of videos so SD Card is very important for me. What like "regular consumers" only use phone for calling and texting and tiktok?

A regular consumer won't care about having a microSD card slot, or many might simply not see its absence as a deal breaker. Once they start running out of space, they’ll be pushed to use cloud storage, they like it or not. So, I’m fairly sure they wouldn't have sold significantly more smartphones if they had kept the microSD card slot. If it actually drove sales, they would certainly bring it back. There are simply too few people in the world (like yourself) who refuse to buy a smartphone without a card slot to make a noticeable impact on said company’s revenue.

                                    Really don't understand why Honor have to ruin their flagship with the experience ruining unibrow selfie island. I would have gotten 2 or 3 Magic Pros if it wasn't for this lmao.

I would buy this Honor immediately if they include Micro SD card slot. They would make more money than from cloud storage.

You're not getting all that much better quality, there's usually a crop added to the footage, and it takes tons of space. So 8K has never made sense on a smartphone. Then, regarding the microSD card slot and 3.5mm jack, it's not that they CAN'T, it's that they simply don't want to because they can make more money by forcing you to buy wireless earphones and buying cloud storage. Simple.
