my next phone

LTRace, 30 Oct 2024Yeah and that's what I hate about new flagship phones,... moreEh, not necessarily. A regular consumer won't care about having a microSD card slot, or many might simply not see its absence as a deal breaker. Once they start running out of space, they’ll be pushed to use cloud storage, they like it or not. So, I’m fairly sure they wouldn't have sold significantly more smartphones if they had kept the microSD card slot. If it actually drove sales, they would certainly bring it back. There are simply too few people in the world (like yourself) who refuse to buy a smartphone without a card slot to make a noticeable impact on said company’s revenue.

Really don't understand why Honor have to ruin their flagship with the experience ruining unibrow selfie island. I would have gotten 2 or 3 Magic Pros if it wasn't for this lmao.

I would buy this Honor immediately if they include Micro SD card slot. They would make more money than from cloud storage.

You're not getting all that much better quality, there's usually a crop added to the footage, and it takes tons of space. So 8K has never made sense on a smartphone. Then, regarding the microSD card slot and 3.5mm jack, it's not that they CAN'T, it's that they simply don't want to because they can make more money by forcing you to buy wireless earphones and buying cloud storage. Simple.

David 040882, 30 Oct 2024Bigger battery? Faster charging? Better ingress protection?... moreYep, minor upgrades. Magic6 Pro still can last for 2 days with just regular usage, huge upgrade would be 8K 60fps which Snapdragon 8 Elite supports and Micro SD Card with 3.5mm headphone jack would be perfect. Sony proves that it is possible to add both of these amazing features to the flagship phone, why others can't do the same?

Now that the actual specifications of the Pro model have come out in the open, frankly I'm disappointed. The telephoto should have been 3.5x with about 98mm with this sensor. The UW is also disappointing. They should have gone for the 1/0.98" LYTIA900/OVO since they didn't upgrade the primary. The telephoto should have had 3 axis IBIS. The battery should have been 6000mAh to say the least.

I really hope they bring out a Pro Plus and an Ultimate variant with even bigger specifications since this won't help them win the market.

from 180mp to 200mp beast. a beast with 8 elite onnit
hoping it would have esim just like hm6p

Very minor upgrade from Magic6 Pro, apart from new Snapdragon nothing's changed. Still an amazing phone for 750€.
