Let's see if that phone comes to the UK/EU with a 6000 battery inside as you say the EU rules will not let them have that size battery inside their phone ... But the OnePlus 13 6000 did and the Honor magic 7 lite did 6600 and the oppo find x8 pro comes with a 5910 battery inside just looked at oppo UK website

    The only phone so far that's come out in the EU that has cut the battery size is the Honor Magic 7 Pro... Every other mobile phone has come out with either a same size battery or a bigger one not a smaller one from the year before

    OnePlus 13 6000 battery
    Honor magic 7 lite 6600 battery
    And other makes to all ok with the EU
    With bigger batteries

    So why cut the Honor Magic 7 Pro battery to less than the Honor Magic 6 Pro of last year ??? People can't keep blaming EU rules as other mobile phones had no problems with their bigger batteries... So obviously Honor had a problem with the Honor Magic 7 Pro and had to cut the battery size , there is no other reason for it

So what was the Problem with the Honor Magic 7 Pro , was it the shielding that Honor put in the phone that's what I heard happened it never passed in UK/EU so Honor had to cut back the battery , But all the phones above were ok within the UK / EU .. Honors top flagship phone of 2025 had to cut back the battery to less than it's 2024 flagship phone the Magic 6 Pro .. Something is just not right and Honor has not given a reason for it ...Did Honor make a mistake with the shielding on the Honor Magic 7 Pro that's the question and decided not to fix it but to put a smaller battery in instead.. Cheaper option than to fix the shielding 👍 So if the Honor Magic 7 Pro did not pass the UK/EU shielding rules but other phones did with bigger batteries 👍 Is that Honors fault or the EU ? Hopefully when they release the Honor Magic 8 pro they will sort out the problem and I will then upgrade my Honor magic 5 pro to the 8 but at this moment in time im not upgrading to the 7 , I would of upgraded if it had the 5850 battery but im not with a smaller battery than last year

            Why dose the the spec keep changing?
            At first it said 60mm telephoto
            Then 69mm and now 72mm
            (check the old comments. You may find mine too. I'd be happy if it's really 72mm and not crop)
            Companies need to be clearer about spec

              I was close to buy this phone but, as I'm based in Italy, I can't accept to have a limited/smaller battery compared to all other countries out of EU/UK.

                I will not get the Honor Magic 7 Pro with the small battery in the UK/EU. I will keep my Magic 5 Pro one more year until the Magic 8 Pro.. Smaller battery than on lasts years Honor Magic 6 Pro, No thank you

                        George Zhao resigned as Honor's CEO last week, prompting further changes at the smartphone company's executive level. A recent report disclosed that the Global Marketing Chief, the Chief Marketing Officer for China, and the Sales leader for China have all left the company.

                        Obviously something went wrong with the global release of the Honor Magic 7 Pro with the smaller battery..

                          I would guess the sales of the Honor Magic 7 Pro in the UK / EU have crashed and Honor have decided to bring out a refreshed Magic 7 Pro in April with the bigger battery.. If you look at the discounts Honor are giving £300 off + buy your old phone for a price +£100 on top of that + 5% off with the company I work for , looks like they just want to sell them off quick... I could of got the Honor Magic 7 Pro for £450 With selling my Honor magic 5 pro to them with the extra £100 + £300 off+ 5% off with the company I work for I still decided I'm not going to and either wait until April or wait for the Honor Magic 8 pro

                          The rumour is that the Honor Magic 7 Pro did not pass the RF shielding rules in the EU/ UK, so Honor had 2 choices 1. Fix the RF shielding or 2. Put a smaller battery inside (smaller battery than in the Honor Magic 6) Honor decided the cheaper and quicker option smaller battery..

                                Considering that S25 Ultra is basically the same S23 Ultra I'll buy the Magic 7 Pro. I really like how it looks, the black one I mean. And I'm sure it's better than my S23 Ultra.

Same set of cameras, charging speed, etc at a higher price tag. Samsung has evolved as an Apple copycat both price-wise and technology decision/implementation.

                                      [deleted post]And a price hike that comes with the upgrade. Thanks but no thanks. I am personally a fan of Honor but not by their recent decisions on their batteries and telephoto camera which is a minimal upgrade from the 6 Pro.
