That Honor looks like a big Xiaomi Redmi Pro with the Fingerprint Scanner on the back.

If the rumoured specs are true I will not be buying this phone. My Honor Note 8 still lasts a few days between charges.

I'm disappointed in the reduced the resolution from 2560x1440 from the HN8 to the 2220x1080 in this device. This would result in a lower PPI density which would make the display look less sharp.

The screen area is actually about the same as HN8. The diagonal measurement appears bigger because it has a different aspect ratio.

The height and width of this device are smaller than the HN8 yet this new phone is thicker and heavier than its predecessor.

I hope the Mate 20 will improve upon some of the lackluster features of this phone.

Hope a Pro version will come along with this phablet for upgrades and to replace some missing important specs

Moreover, for G4 LG has offered upgrade of L to M only (despite bootloop and other disasters), which is unacceptable.

This device was more interesting than Max 3.

SAMOLED is something that may require higher PPI, and this is obvious from your example. Thank you for your comments.

Walter C. Dornez, 25 Jul 2018Well that sucks. What do you use now?Still using this, but stopped keeping sensitive data. The idea of buying a flagship mobile that could get most of the jobs done has failed by G4. So much potential is killed by LG.

This year I will have to skip buying a tabphone. Mi Max 3 doesn't have NFC, but Honor Note 10 has an appalling screen. 2K should have been a must. 335 ppi is OK for IPS LCD, but Super AMOLED screens look terrible at so low resolution. Everything is blurred. Have a look at Samsung budget phones (e.g. Galaxy J non-Pro series), and you will see what I mean. It's miserable that Huawei decided to bury so great phone just for saving on display.

The Google search revealed they knew it would happen, but they didn't care to warn. And, my data in LG phone got screwed twice, one by bootloop, the other by some software error (read my previous comment about microSD).
