the major annoyance is that you need to add to power exclusions all apps that you want to receive notifications from always (otherwise "ai" will sometimes block them).
If the OS is your only concern, i'd say go for it.
i was more worried about non-amoled screen, but everything's fine.

I'll look forward to it. The only concern is Huawei OS (which, according to many folks, not so great). Additionally, I don't like use of resolution more than 1080p in a phablet as it tends to reduce the battery life. You don't need more than 1080p either in a 7" screen.

Meaning black artifacts where it should have been gray like shadows. I have it 3 years now, I'm working on it several hours on day and it haven't any problem at all.
I'm absolutely satisfy with it. It's a moster!!!

Looks like not Honor Note 9 anymore.
The GM announced it will be Honor Note 10.
I guess the specs will be better than the listed.

This is my dream phone. A true phablet that will allow me to ditch my ASUS tablet. But I don't think the USA will ever see this phone. It will probably be limited to the lucky people in Asia. But I can still dream, can't I?
