Or is there no flash associated with the front camera? My Note 7 and S7 Edge did not have a dedicated light that flashed when you took selfies, but the screen would flash bright white to give you light in a dark room.

I do miss the 4k videos!! They look so much better when scaled back down & are more future proof. I have a 4k monitor at home. You really notice the difference. But oh well, the price makes up for that one downfall.

I was hoping the front camera had a dedicated flash or at least the screen flashing white to brighten the surroundings a bit. Definitely wasn't expecting you to say it turns "black" hahaha

You have been having no issues with your 256gb card, so I don't see why it wouldn't work. I got the 64gb model of the device. They are all from the same region so no reason to believe your model is any different either.

As for the 4k... I'll say it again. Neither the front nor the back do 4K. It's 1080p max. Here's a screen shot of the video record settings on the back camera:

Riffy13, 26 Oct 2016I get better call quality on this, on T-Mobile, than I have... moreNice! I have the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge right now which I am about to give up for this phone. I'm glad the speaker is louder. I will certainly be using it for a lot of media. I'm on T-Mobile as well. I know the phone only gets 3G and not 4G or LTE, but that's good enough for me.
Does the screen flash when you take a selfie in the dark like the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and Samsung S7 and edge? Also, I am seeing more conflicts with 4K recording. Some sites are saying the back camera can record 4K but the front can't, whereas others are saying neither front nor back can record in 4K?
Appreciate you taking the time away from your awesome device to answer these queries! :-D

Mrplennium, 26 Oct 2016Ok, great! I hope the unit I get leans more towards a coole... moreI get better call quality on this, on T-Mobile, than I have on any phone I've ever had with them. I've had all the Samsung Notes 3-7 with a few SEdges mixed in. I don't know if it's cuz I'm on a different band than most or what. But both my mother & myself... it improved our call quality! (She also lives in a congested area in a different state.) I get less internet lag & drops too!
The speaker isn't "loud" they all suck on all phones really. But it's louder than any of the Samsung's. Maybe a little bit more clear too. But definitely loudER but not loud by any means. I still prefer bluetooth. :-p

Better if it were pure white, but AMOLED displays are never perfect. Also, what do you think about call quality? I don't see anyone talking about that online. I live and work in the heart of NYC. It's really loud. I need a loud earpiece volume.

Also, can anyone tell me how the white balance is on the device? I am always skeptical of AMOLED displays because they tend to have a red or yellow tint when viewing white backgrounds. I have had several Samsung devices with that issue.
