1. Honor Play 4 Pro - Comes with the Huawei P40 Specs including Kirin 990 and 8GB ram. It comes with the special feature which is the IR temperature sensor. It cost about $400.

2. Huawei Nova 5T - Comes with 6 / 8 GB of ram and it comes with the old Huawei P30 specs including the Kirin 980 since it is a 2019 phone. It cost about $300.

3. Honor 10X Pro - Comes with the impressive specs including the Kirin 820 5G and with 6 / 8 GB of ram. This phone could be the cheapest 5G phone of all Huawei and Honor phones. It cost about $300.

4. Honor 30 - Comes with 6 / 8 GB of ram and a powerful Kirin 985 which is as powerful as Kirin 980 but it includes 5G while the Kirin 980 doesn't. It cost about $400.

5. Huawei Nova 7i - Comes with 8 GB ram and Kirin 810 and it is the cheapest of all, same specs as Honor 9X Pro but cheaper. It cost $200 - $250 depends on your region.

      2020 Jun 27, got a notice for 'important' (yes the notice say this is important) software update for EMUI ver 9.1.0.381.
      Guess what? It made the performance even worse. I usually let the phone load my game (cause kirin 970 do not load game that fast) when I take a leak and drink some water then straight away play after that. Weird thing is instead of fully loaded game I see my home screen and with the game already shutted down. After that at another break time I let the game in auto play mode, but the same thing happened. THE PHONE IS AUTOMATICALLY SHUTTING GAME OFF WHEN IN IDLE STATE. God, why is a software update only made thing worse.

        Honor Play is a great phone. I am having this phone since October 2018 and it can handle many heavy usage. The only 3 problems that I am saving is an aggressive ram management since Emui 9 or Emui 9.1 was released, secondly it started to overheat after a year of usage and thirdly It did not get Emui 10 and not even Android 10 even though Honor Play is on the list of supported devices for Android 10 and it is a 2018 phone, so it was expected to get the 2 major system upgrades. A big Shame for the company who cheated on their customers!

          Ive been using this phone since 2018 and during that time i gotta say it was a good phone for gaming. Bot the best but it's still good. Now, i do experience a little lag when i play pubg but im guessing if you play it on lower res (i played on hd and max fps) you shouldn't experience any lag BUT i do admit that this phone can get hot especially if you use data, but that shouldnt be much of a problem if you have a phone cooler. I got a new phone but im still using honor play since it's still a decent phone.

          p/s: dont play Lifeafter with this phone, it's laggy af XD

                I used the phone since Dec. 2018, and still good in playing mobile games, still there is no issue in my phone (Model COR-L29), its speed still good, fast response.. I could say this is a good budget gaming phone..

                  in honor play phone while i was played a game after completed i closed app ..even closed it shows in my background the game picture runs in my background it ruins my battery and my phone performance

                    This one joke of a gaming phone is for playing something like candy crush or backgammon. Trying to play another game and as usual crash all the time. Battery is amazing though so I guess the priority of this so called gaming phone is protecting the battery, not prioritizing performance.
                    How kirin 970 handle your phone:
                    "Hey hey hey mr.kirin, this game is running a little hard on the battery-terminate it."
                    "This program is running in the background and it drain the battery-terminate it."
                    "This apps...terminate it."
                    "thi...terminate it."
                    "... terminate it."
                    "terminate it"
                    "terminate it"

                    And that is running a performance mode.
                    You want a praise for your battery that kicking *ss even when running the phone in performance mode? Well done.
                    You want a praise on the performance that suck *ass even when running the phone in performance mode? Not gonna happened. Thumbs down on performance, totally zucked.
                    Performance after the first year is chicken poop. Kirin 970 my foot.

                      Using it for 1.5 years - awesome phone, no complaints at all!

                        I really like this phone it runs pubg,cod,fortnite really good but the 2 mics can repeat the speaker sound which is kinda annoying for when your on loudspeaker on calls

                                  The display is also problematic. There used to be one bright spot right in the middle of the screen. USED TO BE ONLY ONE.
                                  Because it was only one and right in the middle I thought it was caused by the buckle of my phone case/bag. Because of that I started to reverse the placement on my phone so that the backside is the one that touch the buckle. But now after several month of that change another bright spot appearing about 2 cm below the first spot. I still use my 5 y/o asus phone for my secondary device but this kind of problem is never happened even after the screen is cracked because I drop it.
                                  I started to think that this is actually a bad phone(and I suspect it will go from bad to terrible before it reach its second 'birthday'). It got high review cause many reviewers use it only use it for several weeks-months at best, but for someone who invest in this 300$ phone thinking it would last at least 3 years (ideally I expect to squezee it till 4 years) this one is surely a disappointment.

You can go to Apple eco-system but then again the same Government gets the data. At best you can stop using smartphones and deep dive to landphones. They are perfectly safe in your case.

                                      You argument is like I have money but why keep in bank? That's a party which will come to know many of my personal details so why will I share. The money is better safe with me.

                                      In the end if we want to use a smartphone we have to choose an eco system. Can be Google or Apple or the new Huawei. If you ask for vote outside China 99% will vote for Apple and Google. Inside China... well they were never given the liberty to choose one.. and the government can directly ask for all info with even going to court. And Huawei will be a lame duck powerless to do anything. Not so for Apple and Google in USA. They can go to court.

It means google records your video and records your voice and checks the files you've saved in your phone. And gives all of your data to US Govt. US govt controls whole world with the help of google. How can you trust google?
