Abit disappointed, had this phone since it came out everything still works but battery is starting to drop, screen on time has reduced by an hour and also updates have stopped, the honor view 20 only had a year and a half of updates compared to 2 years with other phones, stuck on July 2021 security patch

omg i've never seen many positive comment in gsmarena, as an user of honor v20 im very proud
this phone still rocking in 2022, battery and performance was great, can play genshin without problem, still had google support, had infrared, had a 3D tof camera, still got 3.5mm audio jack.. for a cheap price!

very impressive phone, still fast on 2022..This phone has multi feature that are not available on other phones..i hope this phone will have successor.

mode411, 27 Dec 2021Would it still be a good buy in 2021? Or 2022? dont know what price it currently is but as a daily phone its doing pretty well. I use it since 2019 and cant even say the phone slowed down.

I just came here to say I've had this phone since January 2019, which is nearing 3 years at this point... It's the longest time I had any phone ever. Didn't break, its battery is still the original, still feels snappy. Like I sometimes feel like I want to switch to a newer phone, but I test them out, and they just don't feel nearly as responsive as this (now relatively old) phone!
The photos are also very much up there. Yes, there are other phones that take awesome photos, but I still get compliments from DSLR users on the photos this one takes.
Honestly I had been a little bored of this phone, since this is the one that I have been using for the longest time, and that's also why I'm here on GSM Arena. But I don't see myself actually switching until this gets destroyed.
My work phones had always been the latest of one of the biggest brands in the meantime (that I shall not name for the sake of avoiding bashing), and I just loathe having to use those high-end phones, as something as simple as typing on the keyboard is noticeably lagging compared to typing on this older Honor. So I have no idea what they did with EMUI, but they did something right.

Then again, I'm nearly always on Wifi in the past 2 years. I think by default it does not update apps while you're on mobile internet, only on wifi.

I comment on their page, they reply to list of supported device for latest version. Anddd.. This phone not in their list... 😭😭😭
