At least with the 50+8+2 setup, you have 2 useful cameras, along with a macro for extremely niche circumstances when you want to take a pic up close. A 50MP camera can be tuned to perfection. In the case of this X50 GT, you have a 108MP camera, who knows how good or bad it is, and you have a depth sensor for portraits with the main camera. Most people will never take portrait photos with the portrait mode, typically resorting to the standard mode or selfie cam instead.

them giving me a kirin 710 chipset with 5 optical zoom
rather than giving me a sd chipset with those cameras
!
