I have got 2 new of these after using some contacts. Obviously one is for me (i was dying to get it). I can sell the other one, I am in UK so its 614c version.

Sadly the phone will not be released. I've been waiting for months now I have nothing :(
I got this email from HP:
"You recently registered via HP's website to be notified when the HP iPAQ 610 Business Navigator is available to purchase.

I doubt that the final release will be bug free (the delay usually hides issues). You have to wait to the fall for a customer tested one, don't rush to grab it.

My friend that works in a HP reseller company confirmed that this phone FINALLY arrives in March! Hope it will be worth of such a long waiting.

I can't wait that long anymore....They should not post (due Feb 2008) like that if they(HP) can't release at that date...SHAME ....BOOO! every day (not twice a week) I check on HP site, I see iPAQ 610 , but if I click the link, the page is unavailable. I was wondering that HP web masters did they know that the page is unavailable.......SHAME ......HP ...long way to go....because of web administrators....

Seems as though GsmArena left out the Handwriting Recognition feature.Found directions on how to use it from Fcc docs listed on page 13 of the user's manual. Paragraph that's titled "Enter Text". You can tell that it's specifically for this phone and not just a generic draft because it tells you how to disable the Smart-touch navigation wheel (unique to this phone) before entering text. There are production issues that affected the release, plus a new version of windows mobile 6 to come out and to be included in the phone....relax, its coming.

I just checked that the IPAQ 600 is still posted on the HP UK site and is still Due february 8.
Waiting impatiently to see reviews of the real unit...

They totally removed the page for this phone on HP.com. Cannot find the page I saw before, searched and zilch.
Maybe they found a major problem with the phone and will not be able to release it soon.
Gosh, does this mean that when they do release it, it's not a good idea to buy one since it might be buggy as hell?
Waaahhh.. and I've been waiting for ages.

Just got off the phone with HP and now they say MARCH. I'm a loyal iPaq guy and have been waiting for this phone since CES 07 but I dont think I will wait much longre then March 3rd to replace my Blackberry. Come on HP stop dragging you feet.

Some days back when i checked the HP website, i find that this model is no longer listed. I tried to do a search on this model but nothing appears. I guess they are not going to release this model

I saw yesterday in HP England like 360 "pounds" and it said it was due for Feb 08. Today there was no price and NO release date. That would be 700$.
