hi .i already buy the phone and use for 3 days.what my opinion is this phone is not bad for basic.it can say never hang. speaker is clear although not so loud but if u put the right ring tone the ringing u will still be able to heard if u put in beg.function is great for a pda .overall is ok

Looking at this phone and after reading all the mail here, am really confused. Phone comes with respectable features but poor battery life and hangs frequently. Are O2 or Dopooo phones also similiar or does anyone have a better choice, before i commit to buying a PDA phone.

I ve seen my uncle using O2 XDA IIi
its screen automatically goes on and off after every few minutes
will it happen same for all Pda's
or how about Hp
I want to buy
But i don't like that screen to automatically turn on and off
One picture come and then screen is again off.

i want to comment on the guy who said ppl should not buy this phone coz of the speakers. the guy was complaining that the speakers are not loud enough.
as for me, i think there is something really interesting about the speakers. the speakers are soft (no doubt) but even if u go far from the phone while playing music, you will still be able to hear the speakers. and i really like the sound quality.

pls do not buy this lousy phone it is a useless piece of junk cant hear the phone ring outdoor u can only hear the phone ring if it is right infront of u i own it for 2 week paid $600++ for a 2 yr plan and now the price drop to abt $400+ this phone is HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

REPENT the dreadful day (30/09/06)when I bought this phone! For a person using Nokia all thru- this was the worst brand and phone change I could have dreamt of and worse- it is not even 6 months that have passed by me buying this dreadful piece, HP has discontinued this prodcut model on its website!!! I feel more disgusted with myself since I really never thought after paying $780-I would get this kind of a product. Believe me, it has a problem in every area- the speakers, the FM radio, the sound quality. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS/ OR ANY HP MOBILE DEVICES- my sincere advise, U don't even know when they DISCONTINUE their products!

This is great feature packed phone - there are so many features in small trendy phone. Ideal for those who want all the features of PDAs but don't want to sacrifice trendiness and small size of mobile phones. The only negative point i can think of is no built in keyboard - but that won't trouble you much if you don't use it extensively for e-mails

WARNING, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE:
I purchased 2 of these units for my company from a Harvey Norman store. One unit is borderline ok, the other is pathetic. The phones both echo, callers generally hang up, the battery life is very poor, and to make it worse the HP call centre is overseas, you end up with a person who has limited English. The main issue I have is that they have had the phone for 4 weeks now, and they cannot even give me a date as to when I will get it back, so I can imagine you can work on a 6 week turnaround if you are lucky. This is my first and last PDA phone, I would never buy one again, nor would I ever recomend this phone to anyone. Everytime there is a fault HP advise a firmware upgrade, you go through thr trouble of doing all this and nothing changes, call back, try the firmware upgarde again. NO THANK YOU, NOT THIS PHONE NOT EVER AGAIN, AND CERTAINLY NOT A HP, WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT

I need a mobile that can interact as a Diary for my day to day work schedules, plus accept emails. Is this the best option for me. I am on the road most of the day, so need a decent battery life, which seems to be one of the main gripes on this site. Does this come with an in car charger? Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

v good phone in all respect,much better then o2 xda mini as i was using it .but the main draw back is its poor quality audio and the camera dosent seem to be 2 mp.

i am impressed with the performance of the phone. ive been using it for about a month and i am not experiencing an problem. i really like the phone.
the only problem with the phone is that u cannot switch it off completely, u might have to take off the battery

i am left with no choice but to enjoy this phone...i already sold my nokia6233 3G fon, which is infact a great great unit to have.
is there any rom upgrade which you can dload from hp? ( like in o2 atom )this will make your fon thinks faster, more reliable..etc.
