NeonHD, 30 Oct 2016"SD810" ....wtf........Hahaha! I was thinking the same thing.
SD810 is such a bad choice. I'm not into MediaTek, but I'd happily go with them rather than SD810.
HTC used to be great, now they barely make quality phones - they try to follow Sammy and release 100 models per year, but 99% of them suck. Even the 10 is not that great for not having waterproof - flagship compulsory feature in my opinion, allong with SD Card.

Shaun Moroz, 28 Oct 2016Just die already, HTC. Said the same about BlackBerry last ... moreNah m8 I have a feeling BlackBerry will make a comeback soon, but as for HTC I really hope they die

        wait........

        "No 3.5mm jack"

        WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not saying it's bad, as long as they use the newer chips, but why the hell are they using last year's chipset? Ah who cares, still better than the 652.

            "SD810"

            ....wtf........

Should use newer midrange chipset like 16nm Helio P20 or 14nm Sd626 that is power efficiency is better than old Sd810.

kilobyte.s, 29 Oct 2016If the snapdragon 810 is a non-heating version of chipset a... moreTo fix it they have to completely revise die framework and architecture. Then it won't be 810 anymore. So no, HTC just want to save money and Qualcomm want to ditch stale SD810. Yet again HTC management steps on same rakes. Seem to be hopeless.

If the snapdragon 810 is a non-heating version of chipset and they maintained the gpu & cpu power, I'll recommend this over snapdragon 652 devices anyday.

maybe it is a revised version of snapdragon 810 something like v3.0, non-heating, underclocked chipset

Why is this phone showing itself at the latest device list? This is definitely not a latest device. Go back to 2015 mate.

I am a huge HTC fan but...WTF are they thinking??
Taking away the headphone jack was bad enough...now a snapdragon 810?
I'm disappointed...The HTC 10 looks like a Samsung...and HTC evo looks exactly the same but bigger.

Gee I'm glad i have the M9. When HTC was actually innovating with the curved back and awesome speakers.

Its beautiful, but how much? $500? Yup, knowing HTC $500 is going ro be the price they put on this....

Gotta love the similarities this phone shares with the iPhone.

Instead of making the HTC 10 .3 inches longer, they decide to remake the Samsung Galaxy S4.

I think HTC have finally completely and utterly lost the plot if this is true. A CPU that has known over heating issues several months after it's successor is out which does not. The One Plus 3 will almost certainly be a better option at the price that will most probably sell at. After it's not likely to be cheaper and comes with inferior hardware.
