I have been anticipating the release of this phone for sometime now. Only to be dissappointed by the lack neccessary features such as an 8mega pixel camera and a secondary camera so I can continue to utilize skype. No micro sd slot for expanded memory; the touch pro 2 had an sd slot, so why would htc take it away?? A Dual processor would have been nice, along with 4g WIMAX/LTE connectivity. The qwerty key board is a great feature for me and my family. I have no complaints about the key board, but a 4.3 amoled screen to accompany it would have been awesome!

I've used the AT&T's HTC TP2 for about 6 months now and it is simply the best phone i've ever had! would love to have this phone for AT&T too! if this happens i will buy it FOR SURE!

Anyone know if T-Mobile will be getting the GSM version like they did with the TP2s? I am willing to hold off on the 7 devices if that's the case. I NEED a keyboard.

I fell in love with my Touch Pro 2 Sprint, that is the complete phone ever, with touch and sliding keyboard, windows and android, and now i hope it s getting better to replace my favorite old htc touch pro 2 to the new 1Ghz processor, but how could the CDMA n GSM version is separated now, not like the old one ?

Too bad about lacking an sd-card slot indeed, I'll have to buy the 16GB version.
Don't care about the secondary camera, don't care about an FM Radio, don't care about the weight so bring it on!

All my life I owned only Nokia phones until I came across the HTC Touch Pro2, which I have found it difficult to replace. The HTC 7 Pro seems to be the only contender to date, though it lacks some features. I can't live with a smarthphone without a FULL QWERTY keyboard, microSD slot, FM radio, extra front camera and reasonable battery time.

What's the point in downgrading from a Windows Mobile phone with up to 32gb of storage to a phone with only 8 or 16Gb? BIG mistake...
