Those WP7 phones look all the same, no matter which brand you choose. A pity.

Anonymous, 14 Oct 2010why are htc still making 5mpx camera phones. competotors ar... morejust ever try to compare the 8 mp cams of nokia and samsung
even a htc 3 mp cam can beat them like anything
megapixels are just for the size of the photo
they have nothing to do with camera quality and clarity

higher megapixels doesn't mean better cams

Look at this brick. 15.5mm thick and a almost 200 grams!!

Then take a loot at the nokia e7. Its much lighter, thinner and the other dimensions are almost the same. Yet it has a much larger screen (4">3.6") and its made from aluminum

Anonymous, 14 Oct 2010why are htc still making 5mpx camera phones. competotors ar... moreTo all camera buffs, Firstly let me say...Phones shouldn't really try to be cameras. Ok maybe just too take snaps and stuff but really, a camera is a camera and a phone should be a phone. Just get used to that and you'll do Ok with the tool you have in hand at the time. Think of a pixel like a deep well in the ground. The smaller the well circumference the less light gets down into the well. The bigger the well diameter the more light gets into the well. This is true for pixels. The more pixels you have in a camera the less space you have to pack them all in and hence/therefore they have to make the pixels smaller. This means that the smaller pixels (camera with more Mega pixels) will actually be less affected by light. So They will need flash to compensate. Whereas a 5 MP camera will be better in low light. Do some research before you winge about phone manufacturers and their cameras...

You guys keep talking (whining) about the non-existing multitask, but have you understood how the Phone 7 OS handles apps at all, or do you just Copy Paste what someone else have said? Windows Phone 7 uses Hubs where a bunch of apps integrate into 1 app, collecting/using information from/of eachother, instead of the old opening-closing (multitasking) handling we've all grown used too. Instead of opening app after app for their different single purposes, the Phone 7 makes the apps work together. This phone OS do not use stand-alone apps like Android/iOS - instead it uses hubs to make them work TOGETHER.

                                Anonymous, 13 Oct 2010r u kidding?Yes, I have a winmo6.5.
By now, it´s old and not modern. but think about power. It can do almost everything a computer can.
OK, it´s slow. But also work. WinPhone7 wont.

Once again, Microsoft is following a path Apple did. It was good for the I-phone.

Major of users around the world dont care if it cant do copy+paste or be mult-task. Windows users do. Becouse, that was what we used to use in favor of win. Now it´s against. And I am sorry for it.

                                  ok, ok, ok.
WinMo is going the same way as I-phone and it´s bad. It´s turning into a trash. Even so, I think the limitations will the very soon resolved by 3rd party apps. .Net has today more than 2 times quantity of developers than the rest of all together. The apps for windows phone 7 is going to cover the gaps. It´s good for anyone waiting an opportunity to win some money.

Wait till you here what is missing.

The first release WP7 won't be capable & won't support Multitasking, Copy & Paste, Bluetooth file transfers, MicroSD capabable for quite some time. Also Internal Mass Storage mediums aren't really that generous, considering the not-generous External Sotrage medium either.

Even Nokias N8 has all the desired computing space reqwuirements fit for any modern age computing persons needs for Music, image,s videos, books etc.. The ever growing Soft application all require more space.

I would have though Microsoft think thourougly carefully about their software implementations seriously from the drawing board. But how can you build stable house properly if the foundations are non-existent or aren't there! Hmmm?

Now I need customization like many people in a modern age with a modern & capable OS which has these tiny little important general purpose standards from the ground yp to make my computing life all the more seamless!
