I have been using the Aria now for about 1.5 years. I got it in the US with an AT&T contract, however, I rooted and unlocked it so that I can use it while traveling in Europe as well. I like the phone's dimensions a lot since it fits easily even in my shirt pocket. If you do not have really large hands you will be very satisfied with the form factor. I installed the latest CM7 ROM Gingerbread and it is performing very well. The major downsides that I see are the battery life and camera quality. I am not a heavy user and do not take pictures or videos that much, so I am fine with it.

I have had this phone for over a year now, and use it quite a bit. The battery still lasts me all day and It hasn't let me down yet. Love it :)

I've had this phone about a year. I've done system reboots about six or seven times when I randomly stopped receiving text messages, no warnings or anything, just someone asking why I didn't respond to them later. It seems to have a massive memory leak. If it wasn't for this issue, it would be great, but I just had to go buy an out of contract go phone to replace it because I can't take the uncertainty of if I am or am not getting my texts.

Anonymous, 21 Oct 2011Worst phone I've ever had. Freezes all the time and the bat... moreAre you serious? You bought a HTC Aria in 2011 when the HTC Aria is over a year old. Now you complain that it "freezes" even though you bought a used and abused phone...
Yes... this makes a lot of sense.

Worst phone I've ever had. Freezes all the time and the battery sucks. Had it for about 9 months. Spending the money and going back to a real phone. iPhone 4S. I'll never cross the bridge again to see what it's like.

I have had phone for around 5 months on a $19 p/m plan and it's pretty good! But on some days that I rarely use my phone, it's just on sleep most of the day the battery runs out so much faster. And on other days when I use it often it stays up until like 9pm
I found that it's better to let the battery turn orange/red before charging it though, it's better.
I would like to root my phone, as I would like more customisation and speed but I don't think I will take that risk yet haha

Type *#*#4636#*#*
You would get a detailed information about Battery/Network/Roaming as well. "You can Edit as well."
Might help you to save some power.
Using the phone for last 3days. Good Android device within price range. Only if the battery last longer. Mine Dies in 3.5-4.00 hours of heavy use. Because i think 6hours should be standard time for smart phone.
I figured out the Data traffic will kill your battery (if you are using WIFI or EDGE/3G) by 2 hours of using.
I am using it in Asian Region, May be in some other region the device might give better battery support. (Wondering)
