Anyway, if u really can, i think it won't make any difference because the purple tint is a hardware issue. Just changing software won't solve the problem.
The only solution is to send your device to the nearest HTC service centre...

If your phone is still under warranty, HTC will repair without any charge.. Otherwise, you need to bear the cost.

Regarding the purple tint issue
1) as far as i know, only One M7 & Butterfly S are facing this problem. No problem with One Max & One M8.
2) its a hardware issue & the only solution is to send back to HTC service centre. Android update won't solve the problem.
3) it only show up when taking photo in low light/dark/night. No problem during day time/bright or using flash.
4) HTC won't charge anything IF the phone is still under warranty. Otherwise, its chargeable.

A phone with jumbo battery 3200mAh+ !! Everything same as the butterfly s but with improved chipset and camera !

PISKY, 01 Nov 2014Pls pals butterfly s and one max which one is the bestit's up to you. if you like bigger screen pick the one max its more on entertainment rather than a phone. if you use as a daily driver pick the butterfly s. performance on both almost identical. good luck, cheers.
