Just to answer a few question from other readers.
1. The battery life of the ChaCha is decent, but nothing spectacular. I get 1.5 days out of it with wi-fi turned at all times and fairly heavy usage. Better than a HTC Desire or iPhone, but not by much.
2. With regards to the running of applications on internal memory. I have actually installed several apps (Whatsapp for one) to the external memory card and am running them fine.
I love the phone and would wholeheartedly recommend it. It trounces any of the Blackberry and Nokia models in terms of being able to write out text on the generously apportioned full key pad. The screen isn't exactly big, but for me, the most important aspect for a device is that it's quick for me open a browser, put together properly written e-mail's and communicate rapidly.

this phone is available in KSA
so it must have arabic support !
however, every mobile phone the meddle-east n africa has arabic support sometimes francais,Duch but always arabic n english
it's a nice phone,nice price,nice brand and a nice screen ! bec. the resolution is high u can play HD games which is really cool in a med-price phone
it costs like 1800LE=1300SR
but i prefer the salsa more than the chacha

i have already ordered HTC ChaCha. hope it is a good phone model. but it seems to have some problems with battery life and font?

have youe ever seen arabic fonts in it?
because in arabic forum i saw that this phone should be root and font should be copied to read arabic...

It seems that the internal memory on this device accessible by the user is below 200mb. That sucks given that alot of important apps like Skype, whatsapp require the internal memory to be used and not transferred to the SD card. Ill possibly have to root the phone to use external memory. sigh

Android sucks battery life like crazy. My HTC Desire gives me 10 hrs of battery life a day :( Someone please provide stats on battery life for the HTC CHaCha. Preferably with data (3G/HSDPA) switched on. Thanks alot. Battery life will decide if i get this or not!

I'm a fb user, but I mean really now... And the name... Is HTC trying to be more, uhm... "commercial" guess this really for kids. It's going to be a public phone like the Blackberry curve #rolling eyes#

mobile phones nowadays are so dependent on facebook. facebook here, facebook there.. its ok to make facebook as an app, not a hardware part of the phone. It's so manipulating.
Its really wasting money for a so called facebook phone? and wasting money for staying connected? Why not spend time personally with your friends? Better moments will happen.
I really noticed that most people spent their whole time in front of the computer or tiptapping their phones. Some of them are with their friends but still they can't put aside their phones for a short quality bonding time.
