I've been using this phone as a second phone for a while now. I can say I love it :) Yes, the specs are not great, on-board storage is dreadful (only 512 mb) but you can fix that by installing the apps on the SD card. (search google for "move apps to SD no root"). Otherwise it runs great. No lag or bugs execept for the famous "Dialer bug" (check google). But that's an Android bug not ChaCha Specific. I had to buy a new battery cuz the stock one was dreadful but there are 1600 mah batteries for this phone on ebay and now the phone lasts 2 days. So I say go for it.
Keyboard is awesome.

I love this phone been using it for a year it runs fine battery life isnt anything to boast about but overall it is a great phone..... as a stock phone its ok as a rooted phone it is great running ics

i've been use this chacha for a year. my opinion is, it is a good phone when you root it. i've expand 512mb internal to 4gb using link2sd. no problem with internal. uninstall default app. using GO Launcher EX and no lag issue. dont expect some gaming aspect, this phone is introduced for texting and status update. the keyboard is really pleasing the owner. but the main disadvantage is, poor battery. If you turn off mobile data it may last for a day without fill up back the juice. the issue is when you use your 3G line and the battery will drain quickly.

ive been using htc chahcha for the last 2 years. Overall its an absolute pleasure to use. Keep in mind, this model is atleast 3-4 years old so the specs are slightly low as compared to newer mobiles u get now. However, it still runs well. U will understand by now that there is infact a problem with storage issue on the onboard memory of the phone. This issue can be resolved by rooting (i have not tried it yet) OR by simply turning off the auto updates from google play. Ive noticed issues with installing some apps like Google Calendar (not compatible). The camera is not great, but is ok if photos are taken outdoors. It dials a bit slow. Overall it serves me well. no complaints. Also it feels great to hold. Has a mettallic feel overall.

so kindly Someone help me...! I want to buy such a mobile in which viber and whats'app is available (working) but in qwerty keypad (For chat).

I have this phone since last two years.my experience is :
* poor battery.
* touch screen issues.
* keypad issues.
* no update can be done on gingerbread .
* low internal memory.
* comptblty issue with apps.
never buy HTC Chacha

get a spare battery for your htc chacha so as to save your power, then move some apps & photos to de sd card to have more spaces on de phone. i'm planning to buy de phone because what i believe it can do for me... moreso that i like it's unique design.

very bad handset. very poor and internal memmory very low. every time hsnging some time screen is not working. key pad also problem. very bad handsett.

I had this phone for 2 years and all I can tell you is that this is pure rubbish. It crashes, I usually have problems with messaging (creating shortcuts and the ONLY WAY to get over it is to power off it and take the battery). It works fine 2 weeks. Then.. oh well, you will need to change it.

having nice shap nd nice colour but e bettrey is very poor nd e normaly heat expercialy when u on e tree g . please try as much as posible to remode it e heart is too much.
