HTC confirms One M9+'s European launch

Himanshu, 16 July, 2015

HTC has officially confirmed that the One M9+ smartphone - which was unveiled in China back in April this year - is coming to Europe. There is, however, no word yet on when the device will go on sale.

Also not yet known is in which countries it will be available, although going by a previous report, it should be available in the Netherlands at least, where online retailers have already listed it on their websites. That report also said that the handset will be priced at €760 in SIM-free unlocked form.

Specs-wise, the One M9+ is powered by the MediaTek MT6795T chipset, and sports a 5.2-inch QHD touchscreen. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal memory, and packs a 2,840 mAh battery.

In terms of camera, it features a 20MP rear f/2.2 unit with secondary lens on the top for depth-sensing, as well as an 4MP UltraPixel camera in the front. The handset also features a fingerprint sensor, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.
