MFK, 27 Oct 2010So far i havn;t had any connection loss problems.. its wrok... moreThis is a big problem that many users have, but because the 3G-reciever only goes to sleep for a minute or two most users blame bad connection instead of their phone. IPhone4 have dropped calls, but Desire haave dropped 3G-connections.
I will never buy a HTC phone again. HTC Desire is unable to keep a stable 3G-connection, and according to the review at TechRadar http://www.techradar.com/revie...ew?artc_pg=9 they still have not fixed this fatal problem on Desire HD and it will most likely be the same fatal problem on Desire Z. HTC suck!

I sold my nokia n8 for Desire. N8 is worst fone. Totaly money waste. Desire roks. Best android fone.

So far i havn;t had any connection loss problems.. its wroking fine... before i had htc touch 2... that one had the same problem.. suddenly turns off or restarts when i would rcv a call but not in this one.. maybe the ppl who are having this problem is due to faulty unit... u sould try roooting maybe it will speed up ur cell !!!

Like many other people (check the forums) I am having problems with this phone. It crashes and restarts randomly. People have sent it to repair and had the motherboard replaced but the problem continues. It is extremely frustrating. Unless they find a solution for the problem I don't recommend buying it.

anny, 26 Oct 2010my desire is 2.1 eclair but it says it has got no update.pl... morethink ur just gunna have to wait until its released OTA. u can always email/ call htc and ask them which is what i did and i got a reply less than 24hrs later
... best customer support aswell

anny, 26 Oct 2010my desire is 2.1 eclair but it says it has got no update.pl... moreMany regions are still left without any updates.. i emailed htc asking them same problem.. they replied that they are trying there best to spread the upgrade to all regions.. which means they are still Working on it.. i belong to middle east... and i hvnt got official update.. so i rooted my desire and now i m tasting froyo :)

so that i can pu... morehey, not sure i think so but you can use the touch screen pattern lock so others cannot use the phone... same as a lock code but using the screen in your own unique pattern

Marcus, 26 Oct 2010ok, this has nothing to do with your post, it just seems th... morehey, i bought my desire unlocked so i had to enter the internet settings/ mms etc. myself.. my phone carrier does not supply the htc desire so i had to pretty much google it until i found the correct settings.. not too hard to do.
so if your buying it locked to your carrier on a plan or whatever it should come already set
otherwise youll prob have to do it manually
