Marcus, 26 Oct 2010ok, this has nothing to do with your post, it just seems th... more@MARCUS.. i think u answered ur question ur self.. all the cell phones nowdays automatically connect to internet thru sim service.. like im using Sawa.. when i enter my sim to any phone where internet is not activated it automatically detects setting and i get a msg from server with the settings... if ur just backing because of this sim and internet or 3g settings please Dont... trust me everything will be detected by itself or else u can go to sawa or mobily or zain site to check the settings its very easy i can tell u if u need to.. but im 100% sure it will be detected by itself...the only thing u should consider in buyin this beauty is that its battery wont last long !!! thats it.. its a good fast phone... best of luck in ur choice

Hi ,
I got wave but sold it.
the phone is fast but the web browser is poor. And when I viewed U-tube , the video breaks and I cant viewed any video from u -tube even though the signal strenght is full.
Other than that is fine. But HTC interface and OS is much better than Wave that looks artificial and child like image and colour,

just buy this mobile and found everything all right but problem is very bad music system

MFK, 24 Oct 2010there is a bit of confusing.. i had desire with 2.1 just in... moreok, this has nothing to do with your post, it just seems that your quite helpful so I might give it a try. Anyway, my question is regarding 3G, MMS and GPRS settings. Isn't it that once you plug the sim and switch it on, it should automatically detect network/internet settings and save it on the handset? OR do I have to call customer service and have the settings sent? Sometimes they won't even do it and they'll tell you a lot of port numbers or addresses to put in your phone manually. I'm here in Saudi Arabia and I'm afraid that if I buy the phone and later can't setup 3G, MMS or internet settings myself then it would not be of great use. I'm hoping for your or anybody else's response. Thanks..

I am impress by following this:
screen quality
Battery life.( I watch Tranporter I and II back to back and only 2 steps battery decrease.. awsome battery.
Camera qulaity: HD pictures. Impressive picture in low light area too...
But to my worst part. I am unable to upgrade it. Application ( expect Bruce lee) are useless, very bad map, office exchange dont work( cant watch my official mail.

Lyon, 24 Oct 2010what are u talking about? Froyo is using Sense UI...No, froyo is the OS... sense UI is just that, the user interface
froyo is available on many androids... 3 or 4 devices from htc run sense ui

some of the other devices youve seen running froyo but with different UI are because they have gone and changed it themselves

Anonymous, 23 Oct 2010I love the HTC Desire and I know it can be updated to the n... morethere is a bit of confusing.. i had desire with 2.1 just installed 2.2 (custom leedroid rom) the sense works exactly the same as before... then i checked the video there was a little difference like the applications were showing in 3D effect... later i found out that this is because the users are using DIFFERENT THEMES.. !!!
The froyo 2.2 with any custome rom comes with Sense UI.. u wont loose anything... (as i didnt) and ur right the themes they show in video are not quite good enuf in comparision to Sense UI...
dont worry and go ahead.. u wont loose ur Sense UI in any terms...(just dont try any themes they are not quite smooth as the sense it self !!)))

2.... moreI am although a happy user of Desire right now. but its because i like android OS...but at the same time im keeping my eyes on wave because its literally growing...
Super amoled no one can compare to it...
in short... in terms of sound and video samsung are best in mobiles... along with iphones offcourse....
i dont like the UI of any samsung (becasue they are all same)
but in short... if u buy Wave u;ll save alot of money... but u might regret of not having a desire.. becuase what i;ve read... Gingerbird might be landing on desire(since it completes all the requirement) but then again u dont care for the os nor the apps.. i suggest Wave.. 100%.. u;ll be satisfied customer..
