Nokia has been the best company in creating a MOBILE PHONE, which includes good battery, good sound quality, pocket friendly etc. They failel only because they lose out on the "add-on" features, like OS, internet browsing experience etc.

You can also read up on reviews. They all say N8 has a good battery life.

No regrets that I choose to buy HTC over Xperia/Iphone4..!! cheers to that.. CRISTINA UAE

N8 and Symbian3 is a toy for children, with an absurd bulky camera on the back of the phone.

David, London, UK, 12 Oct 2010Hi all, would people please stop moaning about the battery ... moreThat bulky battery is no option, it is better to buy an extra "original" battery, takes less weight and place in my pocket, to swap when the first one runs out.

Hi all, would people please stop moaning about the battery life and do a little research. Open your eyes and the solution is simple right in front of you. Once again, I'll repost my previous post. Please refer to the below and pass on to all other smart phone users. Also advise those who intend to get a smart phone too so that they know they can enjoy their battery.
                  ----------------------------------------------------

HTC Desire was pefect for me but I was hesitant about the battery. I know all smart phones have poor batteries. I am never keen on the idea of charging the phone daily. Also I play games on my phone so I wanted a beast of a battery. Anyway with a little online research, I have found you can buy extended batteries on the internet. If you google search HTC Desire Mugen 3200 battery or Seidio Innocell HTC Desire, you will see batteries that are twice, three times or even four times stronger than the one that comes with the phone. So those worried about the battery life, her is the solution. Also if you type in you tube search engine, "your phone model" followed by the word "Extended Battery", you will see further info. Thank God I didn't get an iphone4. Thank God I am finally left Nokia. Thank God for Android and the Taiwan wonder HTC

Wildfire & Desire are Poles Apart.

Desire costs almost Twice of Wildfire and also Double in features.

Please ask for a opinion of 2 cells of same category.

However, poor battery feature in HTC Desire is mainly due to Android OS & it's Applications.

So N8 would be a great option. Nokia is always famous for better battery performance no matter how much we use it.

I was using Nokia E-72 before Desire and battery was just AWESOME. So looking at your usage, Nokia would be perfect buy for you.

The only issue with Galaxy is the plastic material quality, which is very cheap, at this level HTC is much better, also as ergonomy, design and feeling.

In my previous post with various queries, I forgot to add that despite the Desire not having DivX/XviD, does it matter? Will it affect watching videos on our phone? If so, are we able to install it or a piece of software that can play such videos?

                                  Thanks, David

                                        Hi all,

I can't sync my phone with my PC. Please advise. I have tried several times. I need to do this as I want to personalise my SMS tones.

Out of curiousity, what size SD cards do you all have in your Desire? I removed the 4 GB one supplied with the phone and have inserted an 8 GIG one.

Androidmarket aside, where can I download a wide selection of Android games? Please tell me from your experience.

I will buy a newer digital camara in December but do you think that a future Android update will make our Desire run HD on 1080p?

Finally, is there a way to sort out the SMS messages like what I was used to on my Nokia? I am never going back to Nokia I must stress. What I mean is SMS sorted by Inbox, Sent, Outbox, Drafts etc.

                                        Thanks.
