If u r based out of India....then GPS - Why?? we do not have that equipped GPS here and above that No need of GPS atleast in India on current scenarios.
Anyways....if U want to use Lots of GPS & Net then follow my below advise....as More GPRS usage(GPS is also using GPRS) Over Heats the Phone.
This is Indeed a SmartPhone...a very god phone..class apart...more elegant that iPhone....but then few things are to be compromised which mainly comprises of limited GPRS usage('coz of Over heating & battery life consumption).

Im myself using HTC Desire...very happy with it....but then as U said that u want to use for calling(ofcourse).... "LOT" if browsing....Music....then U will face battery issue and Over Heat Issue(on Lot of Browsing).

Hi,
I am planning to buy smartphone. Not able to deside which one to buy...HTC Desire or Samsung Galaxy S. Can anyone advise. My uses would be Net connectioin, GPS, reading pdf and doc files and ofcouse making calls :)
please help me to deside. can u what major or minorproblem u faced while using ur Desire or Galaxy

Does this phone have true multitasking?? Without using apps killer. Someone please tell me about its battery life, I mainly use my phone for regular calling,texting,lots of browsing the net and about 4 hours of music,few games. Someone please tell me the about the battery.

hold your guns pal. your phone is crashing? a number of possible reasons for that:
have you upgraded to android 2.2 or still on 2.1? if on 2.2, then following possible reasons:
have you bought or tried to de-brand your phone? if you are not an expert in this aspect, do not try it.
if your phone software version is 1.15 instead of 1.21 and you tried to update to froyo, your phone is quite likely to have different types of problems.
if you have upgraded using the roms available on the xda forums on a branded phone, you will face problems.
if you are still on 2.1 and that is crashing, i suggest you read up different forums about this and write your experience. someone is bound to help you out.

I am thinking of buying this phone very soon, but have few questions if someone could answer these for me.
1. I will be connected to my outlook corporate email account with this phone. How is the mail exchange app compare to the exchange app in nokia?
2. considering the fact you are only left with 100MB of space left (internal phone memory), will there be enough room to save my emails for month? 2.2 Froyo update has the option to save to the SD card, will I able to save my emails in SD card?
3. With 100MB internal memory, what is the max number of application/games you can install?
4. should I buy the screen protector with the phone?
5. is there any chance internal memory could be increased with some kind of update in future?
6. how is the loudspeaker on this phone?
7. what is HTC Synch?

I did some research on it and there does seem to be some problems with it and it is a known fault. Thanks anyway for your help my phone network are sending me a new one.
