w1nter456, 08 Oct 2010hey. . .if the HTC Desire dropped will it spoil?havnt tried it ;) previously i was on omnia hd. that phone was a true hero i have a habbit of keeping my phone in my lap during driving. nd when i get out of the car, i usualy forget to pick it from my lap. i.e. my omnia hd felt more thn 10 times on road from my lap nd there was no problem in the mobile it worked as a charm

WIFI error after upgrading to Froyo:
if you read enough reviews and replies from HTC and other users and developers, you will find a number of factors to take care of:
1- software version of your phone before upgrading Froyo is 1.15 or 1.21 ? in case of 1.15 if you try to upgrade to Froyo, most likely you will either brick your phone or find this WIFI error. your software version should be 1.21 in order to upgrade the firmware to android 2.2.
2- if your phone is not de-branded, do not try to download and install the versions released on xda-developers forum or other forums by programmers. you will probably either end up with the WIFI problem or brick your phone.
3- a SIM-unlocked phone does not mean de-branded phone. branded phone means still under control of either Orange or Vodafone or whichever company you bought it from.
4- do go through more replies and reviews of users and developers warnings before doing the upgrade.

sorry man, i have not faced any overheating problem so far on my Desire. not even after 30 minutes so far.
i am facing some other problems on Desire, but definitely not this one so far. but i still love this phone !!!
Instead IPHONE 4 has been found with another problem now. backpack used to avoid the signal problem is causing the back glass cover to crack. have you heard yet?

i just got in the mugen 3200mAh extended battery!!!! holy this is amazing the regular batter 1400mAh sucks like lasted maybe just over half the day or i might get 8 hours out of it .. this mugen i got just over 3 days of usage, using gps, constant texting, downloading all different kinds of apps and trying them out. i recommend this to everyone who has the desire cause you'll love it.!!!!!
