James, 24 Sep 2010Hi , im not much of a phone perosn but i did invest in the ... morelol i like how u say changing from xperia to desire is an upgrade haha.. just got me desire too, a super powerful phone which requires a lot of effort to set up at the beginning but it will serve u well once it's set up. but i have to say objectively i believe xperia has a better camera than desire, desire or rather htc was nvr known for its camera... its UI is freaking awesome though!

HTC Desire battery power is poor and it doesnt have enough Internal memory and it doesnt have swype and NO secondary video call camera and it doesnt have avi(DivX) video player and it doesnt have stereo speakers...

Hi ... can anyone help me please? I got my Desire last week and it asked if I wanted to upgrade to version 2.2 and i said no because it said I could do it at any time through settings. I am trying to download it now and when I go to settings > about phone > system software updates - it says there is nothing to download? Please help :)

I h... moreHi , im not much of a phone perosn but i did invest in the sony erricsson xperia x10 it was a brilliant phone, but after a month i decided to upgrade to the htc desire and i have to say it is the best phone you could ask for, the camera is amazing its ui interfaace works like a dream , and it is really nice to look atand hold

laura, 23 Sep 2010well you know extra QUERRY keyboards makes it heavy and les... moreYe... the htc desire HD looks amazing, i really wanted that 1 but i couldn't wait - i've just got the desire and i'm in love with it - the touch screen is really good - you don't have to double press and it responds really well to light touches. I have to admit though, i'm pressing wrong letters when texting all the time ha but I know i'll get used to it in a few days :)

Kate, 22 Sep 2010Hi laura, why not wait about a month and get the htc desire... morewell you know extra QUERRY keyboards makes it heavy and less portable...HTC desire Z weighs about 180 also it's not approving terms of it's feature which i don't like and if i'm gonna wanna wait i will wait for HTC desire HD which seems marvellous in terms of function...i'm happy with desire or desire HD but jus' wanned o know if it would be easy to type on the screen and i hope so...any way thanks for your comment dude

Save yourself the trouble and buy a Desire.

Hi Guys,
I planning to buy an Android based handset. I have narrowed it down to 2 handsets HTC wildfire OR SE X10mini pro. But just want an opinion on whether the desire is worth investing in, OR whether i should stick to wildfire.

Only one thing the screen is not AMOLED. It ia Super TFT Display from Sony.
