I purchased HTC desire in Dec 2012 and first time i used FM radio. It worked for 10 minutes and now it is dead. kindly let me know how to get set right.

desire is cool enough...but is anybody know that why images are shown blank sometime images are corrupt & this types of problems in gallery.When images are transfer to computer it surely corrupt file no image is shown mostly half picture goes white....is anybody knows what the problem is this and how i solve it...????

HTC desire has processor problem.
i bought this handset, (already came from abroad) but it was as new as new handset..it worked fine, i install many applications..running fine.
after 2 days of using, it gave auto-off problem and the next day, it just show the HTC logo with white background..Repair guys told me that this set has Processor problem. and the repair cost is 6000 PKR.
disappointed by buying this set. it this set has manufacture problem, then why company continue the handset. although its discontinued,but it should be stopped marketed long ago.

gsmgary, 10 Feb 2013I have the same issue with screen going blank. Did u find a... moreyes it cus the mother board is over heating mine did it HTC say iof fone is still under warrenty thy will upgrade problem solved

i had one last yr it kept going off, htc said that model nthatr model only the mother boe=ard overheats n turns fone off...htc say if fone is under warrenty STILL (2yrs old)they will upgrade mother board

This is my 'upgrade' from the Hero. I was swithering about buying a Nexus 4 for £239 or seeing what phones my dad had lying around, and having ported my google account over to this one, it's still nice and quick, the apps run great, and it's cost me £5 in a replacement battery. Joy. I can use TV Catchup without any drag or artefacting, and my other apps run fine.
I found the manual upgrade to 2.3 (gingerbread) as HTC only did server updates to 2.2 (Froyo). That all installed fine, whoopee.
The kicker will be in a month or 2 when I get my Pebble: it needs to run on 2.3 or later, and needs bluetooth 2.1 or better. Desire has both of these but if there is noticeable delay/lag/compatibility issues my experiment will have failed. If, however, the Pebble works fine, then I'm golden (if Bluetooth 4 LE works on it even better, but Android are still dragging their heels on that!).
All in all I'm happy with the phone, it does what I need and should be pretty cheap compared to a new Nexus 4. I'll report back if the Pebbling is a disaster!

Hey guys...i know every one faces 2 big problems in htc desire...the firts one is its low memory problem and the other one is its slow charging...i have both solved....first thing change your charges...do not charge with orignalhtc charges it charges very slow n sucks...use samsung galaxy charger for charging it it charges really really fast..ok for the memory problem..root your fone download rom named.An.droid
