i was able to set up the yahoo account on my phone and am receiving emails; however, i can not see sent emails (USA T-Mobile user). Can anyone tell me what i need to do to see the sent emails? Thanks.

It will be sad tho if the Desire will become one of the phones of the year and we'll never hear anything about the X10. I'm curios if we'll see posts like "Se like no other" any more :P

What an awesome phone. I have just converted from the Nokia E90 to the Desire, never to go back again. I have never had such fun with a phone. IT has anything and everything one can want. There seems to be a lot of negativity towards the HTC Desire which I find totally unwarranted. Maybe I am just not used to anything else but I love this phone. AWESOME!!!

As an iPhone 32G 3GS owner, I got to play with a Desire Thursday for about 20 minutes. Blown away! Very nice phone! Fast, awesome screen, nice interface, excellent on screen keyboard (no typos, I still make typos on my iPhone months after getting it), great slim design. Only negative, the speaker(s) was a bit tinny, but that's about it. May well be using eBay soon! :) (Going to wait until June to see what iPhone 4G/HD is like, but if the screen is not as large as the Desire, I'm defecting to Android.)

1. what about support for bluetooth handsets ?
2. can we have videos as ringtones ?
3. is 720p recording available?
4. If 720p recording is not available, can that be added as a part of android update.?
5. any protective sheilds / layers / cases available ?
6. Any free apps available or all apps to be bought ?
apps like fullscreen caller, blacklist, best profiles, etc, etc.....
7. when will it be available in india ?

in the review they say something like this:

The HTC Desire comes with the usual set of organizing apps. It has a preinstalled document viewer (not all droids do), which handles office files just fine.
We are talking about the Quickoffice app, which has support for viewing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including the Office 2007 versions.
For editing, you will need to get the paid app though. There is also a PDF viewer."
And, I can't belive I'm saying this, if you need the cammera for you wirk then the x10 has a better cammera.
But just go to a local store and try the devices. Take a picture (as you would for your job) and ask them to show it to you on the monitor.

I am thinking of getting the Desire. I belive it doesn't have xcel on it or word. I am a health and safety officer and need a phone with these on it. Are they downloadable for this phone Free? also is the 5m camera of good quality or would someone reccommend a different phone with a large screen...i dont want the apple phone though \Cheers Ronnie

OB1Kenobi, 13 May 2010has htc come out with the patch to save applications to the... moreas far as i know, the built-in App2SD application will come with Android 2.2 (codenamed Froyo). as of now if you want to enable App2SD, you need to root the phone. alot of guides are around the web, i suggest you look for it on google :)

Yesterday i downloaded a Gameboy advance emulator with all the mortal kombats and mario kart etc and damn i'm impressed ;)
Even other real 3D games are running very smoothly !
Best phone ever ;)
