pH1, 21 Apr 2010"damn i have been waiting for Desire for months and Si... moreyah i have read up on Incredible already. i kinda dislike the design, especially the back. i know it has supposedly better camera but it's not that important to me. it has greater internal storage space too i know, but i am a pretty simple person and i will only be installing really useful apps only. both of them have same processor, so i guess the browsing experience will be comparable. so take away the camera, there are not really much of a difference between these 2 phones i suppose. but i really prefer Desire's build and feel so I am most probably going for that :)

Lyon, 21 Apr 2010lol we all have our moments.. damn i have been waiting for ... more"damn i have been waiting for Desire for months and Singapore is just so so so slow in bringing it in!"
--> have u considered waiting for incredible, which according to gsmarena is expected to release Q2. verizon is rumored to hv accidently leaked the release date as april 29 2010 so its probably gna come out soon. it might be delayed but idk.

"Damn it! I have been surviving on SE K750i (yes laugh all you want haha!) for 4 years :("
--> lol i know what its like to deal with not only outdated phones, but phones that simply wont work. i hv an original n95. when they came out they were pretty good. now the 4, 5, and 6 number pad buttons dont work. i decided i to give up on trying to live with it and got the "very high tech and spec intense phone" that is: neonode n2. (now bankrupt) i hv high end phones now but im surprised at how great the touchscreen of the neonode n2 is. it is/was the only phone company to ever use optical touchscreen which is far better than both resistive and capacitive. a little history might be good too. neonode was the 1st company to recognize gestures on a touchscreen such as flick finger to scroll thru menus and the famous slide to unlock. anyway if u can wait, i wud suggest you do so bcos the incredible has a few specs which are better than the desire. i personally wud h8 it if i just bought a new phone and the newer model of it came out right away. compare them:

u might want to look at andnav2. its free but it doesnt support every country and might not work at all. also u might wna check out:
mapdroyd (i heard u can store maps to sd card, but not the app itself)
        gps - 1 click direction
        copilote live
        navigon
u get the idea. there r some but most r paid for monthly/yearly.

--> you have got to be kiding me. the n900 scores worse than the desire in many sound tests. check these links:

btw wat bsing r u talking about? sound quality hasnt been mentioned before. other features were being compared. and as the tests show the sound quality of htc desire is almost identicle to the x10, which gsmarena agrees is great and loud. the n900 on the other hand isnt as loud and quality doesnt seem much better. its got over 10x the total harmonic distortion of the desire!

Hi everbody. Ive had both phones Desire first then the x10. i went back to the desire as the name says it all.HTC are without dout the best phone makers reguarding andriod market. They design smartphones. Sony are good makers but they cant compare there technology with HTC, It realy is as simple as that.

to be frank I think these jokers who come to other phone forums are just manipulating the real interested buyers these guys are just free and badly brought-up with lower mentality then others, because this forum is for Htc Desire(owner's and future buyers)
why are they trying to promote X10 in this forum,if a review is there just read it and don't decide for others.
As we know every Htc Desire's owner is happy with their new toy..tq.
