Btw. I've seen the legend (qiute the same as Desire) and its soo sweet.. very use frendly.. The Desire has a even bigger screen.... This phone is greath.. Here only good things from users.! No issues..:)

URGENT
Is anybody in the UK using this handset for emails linked to a BT account?
I cannot get any notifications of incoming email on my handset which is a huge problem. Is anyone else finding the same, or have you perhaps found a remedy?
HTC at the call centre have no clue!

No worries, its not a crime using your cell as a modem.
Below is extract from HTC website:
Using your phone as a modem (tethering)Get online with your notebook or desktop computer at any time, using your phone’s data connection.
You need to install HTC Sync before you can use your phone as a modem. Refer to Using HTC Sync for details.
Connect the phone to the computer using the provided USB cable.
On the Connect to PC screen, select Internet sharing, and then tap Done.
Note: When you are using your phone as a modem, the USB mass storage feature is disabled, and you are also not able to use HTC Sync.

stevie, 06 Apr 2010hi jayne. settings will be available soon as o2 are gettin... morehi jayne, i think i already mentioned this i bought mines on orange PAYG but from carphone warehouse (so sim free/unlocked) and mines is sending pic messages and accessing w@p/ internet with no problems at all. I dont know why they said you would need the settings because ive had no problems with mines at all. go for it! your missing out. I love mines so much, way better than iphone :D

Hi, has anyone on here bought an unlocked Desire and put their 02 sim card in it and got the wap and mms settings? I have got a 02 contract and wish to keep it and just buy unlocked phone but 02 themselves say I wont be able to get these settings so just wondered if anyone has done this?
