Shahbaaz, 06 Apr 2010i would like to know that can i use pocket word,excel files... moreYes is the answer to both your posting. Doc viewer is included so you can see files no problem. When you connect it treats the phone as external storage and you can open the contents and see the location and content of files. MUCH easier than when you have to use a CD to link and when you add files they automatically find their correct place on the phone.

i would like to know that can i use pocket word,excel files in my desire....i m planning to buy a new phone and like the desire very much ...just waiting for it to come in mumbai....and when i connect it to my computer through a mini usb will it show the device contents on the screen like in other windows mobile phone ....

Hi Ross,
Have already ordered Desire one month ago, hopefuly will get it some day in this week (btw living in Sweden, carrier: 3) Have just a few questions abt the phone.. Do you know;
-if FM radio in Desire with RDS or not ?
-if the screen surface is scratch-resistant ?
-if there is possibility to switch between any 'desired' keyboard layouts as a native feature i.e. without 3rd party add-ons ?

3- How is the Earpiece volume for calls? (NOT SPEAKER)

is the desires screen the same glass quality feel as the iphones? and anyone know whether the desire will have a North American version..

i buyed this phone now i feel like my life is much more simpler because of the 1ghz snapdragon and when i am free i watch movies ...i am daily out about guy but i find it easier to use my ...face book and msn in my desire. now all am really looking for this phone is really a case ..unlike i phone this doesn't have much cases out in the market .. i only found like two but i didn't like them so i never buyed them but please if anyone know any case let me know !please! .... i like the way this thing feel so expansive and too flashy. but one thing i find bad about mostly its kind a personal thing but i like a solid keyboard like the touch2 have. because i use text or typing a lot the touch screen is not going to be a good if your not going to be careful. also i thing htc will bring out a better and cheaper version of this phone (desire) because not many people can afford this thing. i think the legend it the cheaper version of this desire \ A T M \

Got this phone from carphonewarehouse other day.....previously had an iphone.....this totally destroys my iphone.......screen better...higher resolution.....web browsing much faster than on iphone, flash websites work finally, phone feels really quick, battery is similiar to iphone about a day, but its constantly on email and facebook, every app i had on iphone ive got the same on desire......can use skype i believe thru 3g unlike iphone, multitasking finally as well, better camera...........only comes with a 4gig memory card when its advertised with 8...........also 2year warranty unlike my iphone................easily best phone ive had and way better than my iphone

A very good phone, had it for a week and it works really well. I would definitely recommend this phone. If i was to nit pick, i'd say the FM radio tuning is a little slow compared to my old Sony. Also out the box you can not set a MP3 as a message tone (but i guess there will be an app for that)
