You could be looking at phone of the year. I work for T-Mobile and customers can admit the G2/HTC Hero beats the iphone in a lot of area's, but the are not to keen on the chin or the design of the phone. But as for the HTC Desire there will be no complaints about design. I don't feel Apple new iphone will be better than what's to come from HTC desire. They may match but the iphone can get kind of boring.
Don't get me wrong great phone easy to use, but it kinda looks the same, App's, app's and more apps,no room for design.
Watch out Apple, HTC are in town.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Legend has significantly smaller screen and inferior processor and ram. So if you are bit more demanding user its between nexus one and desire. That being said, the difference between these two is small and its basically a matter of design taste and sense ui versus native android os. And that something I cant decide for you.

This is definitely the best phone to have this year. I can't wait to sell my Diamond 2 and buy this when it comes out. I am so bored of Windows Mobile. The quality of the free apps available on the Android market place is incredible.
I think its the better choice over the Samsung Beam because of the 1Ghz Snapdragon and 576mb RAM. That makes it very future-proof as you know that you would be able to run the most resource demanding apps for some time to come. And don't forget that HTC has a very large support community at xda-developers.
This is a true superphone for me! :)
