So, does the HTC Desire support speech recognition? People tell different things, and on several pictures a mic is showed on the Desire's keyboard:

in my country the video call service is available so i bought samsung phone which support it also supporting flash for the camera and fm radio which i phone dont ..but i was impressed by support that the iphone had from softwares companies ,the graphics in the games and even in the other softwares were superior ....windows mobile also supported and has many nice softwares especially dictionaries ,medical ,calculators..some nice games not iphone quality ...symbian also has many softwares but the games are windows mobile quality .....but....android....no video calling....no...symbian quality games...no medical softwares......and applications available were made by individuals and small companies ....
p.s no real JAVA support.....

I simply just love it! I currently have the HTC here smartphone, and since it is the absolut best phone I have ever had,I simply just got to get my hands on the new Desire! It will have everything, including a better speed running multiple programs in the same time. This is the one thing I miss with my Hero. That is my desire... ;-)

Has anyone noticed the difference in buttons color in multiple videos? For example: 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T689lgEB440 , 2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-pmYLsJ42U There are obviously two versions of the phone; on version one buttons are the same color as the surface and on version two buttons are kindda silvery. Its not a big thing but i like more version two.

You could be looking at phone of the year. I work for T-Mobile and customers can admit the G2/HTC Hero beats the iphone in a lot of area's, but the are not to keen on the chin or the design of the phone.But as for the HTC Desire there will be no complaints about design. I don't feel Apple new iphone will be better than what's to come from HTC desire. They may match but the iphone can get kind of boring.
Don't get me wrong great phone easy to use, but it kinda looks the same, App's, app's and more apps,no room for design.
Watch out Apple, HTC are in town.
