It's very clear that you don't know a thing about mobile phones in specially smartphones. LG and Acer in your opinion are better than HTC, please tell me since when LG make smartphones? And Acer (I will take as example Acer Liquid , the best phone from Acer) is larger than Desire 62,5 vs 60 mm but it has a smaller display 3.5" TFT vs 3.7 AMOLED, 768 MHz vs 1 GHz , 256 vs 576 RAM, 1350 vs 1400 mAh battery. And about the touchscreen response (I don't think that U had been use a HTC in your life) is has the better response on the market (after iPhone). If this phone have had the Xperia X10 (or Satio) camera and Samsung i8520 battery (1800 mAh) in that case it could been the PERFECT PHONE.

Why not windows mobile ? I love the liberty of WM. I can find so easy a software WM I need on internet in less 2 minutes.
I love the hack room so we can change the phone every day.

secondary camera is not so important to me. all i need is voice call and accurate internet browser function. i will buy this phone once it's out in the market. i planned to buy google nexus one, but when i saw this device. i said to myself, i will wait till this phone is out.

This is 1 hell of a tempting phone,the idea of it havin full flash alone is certainly an added bonus(boo Steve) I am thinkin of givin htc a try since I never owned one and it wud b my first android device if bought.I am quite interested in the sony vivaz the camera is highly rated and the 720p is quite good 4 capturing those wonderful moments.Im not confined 2 1 brand, but since when choosing a phone has become such a difficult task? lol...anyway I hav till July 2 decide.Do u all know in the 1st quarter of 2011 the 1st devices are said 2 incorporate 1.3 and 1.5Ghz,I honestly cant keep up ppl,I jus want 2 good devices 2 carry me through 4 a good while.Peace u all.

this phone is amazing. though there are few lackings as the screen is not that vivid as it should be for such a high tech mobile. touch screen element is not that responsive though acceptable. camera results are ok though not as good as nokia. htc is giving tough time to its competitors specially LG and Acer.

Come on people this is such a great phone! who cares if it doesn't have a video camera? just use your laptop if you that desperate to see the other person you calling! I hope it's available in more colours!

Secondary camera lovers:
Please note that video calls work in 3G networks (and up) only. Coverage is not so great, and generally video calls are hundred times less than usual voice calls.
I personally never liked cameras on phine. My first 3G phone has no camera whatsoever and i love it for that. On my second(and third) 3G phone it happened to have secondary camera and i made for last 3 years exactly 4 calls all driven by curiosity. Meanwhile i made hundreds of hours (symbian overflow at 100, so i do not know accurate number) of ordinary voice only calls.
And i am part of those 90% of users who find this phone useful. Probably HTC (and other manufacturers) did same calculations about market share :-)
