I have used phones from various manufacturers (Nokia, Samsung,ASUS etc). This HTC phone is the worst. Its been 2 weeks I started using this phone and it has thousands of issues.It gets over heated, cannot type continuously the phone gets stuck, and sometimes cannot restart the phone and it was on off for one day continuously. I am having so many issues with this HTC D826.So please waste your money on buying this.

By today's standards this phone is still very decent. The HTC Wildfire on the other hand.............

People, this phone was introduced 6 years ago. How do you expect to be fast, or to have a good battery? It was OK 6 years ago (even then it wasn't a proper flagship), but today it's just outdated. Just read a comment "don't buy". You cannot buy it even if you want to. Maybe some trashed secondhand unit, but there's no way you can find it brand new.

I bought it 2010 and i've been using it since then. I didn't have any problems with it and i've been using it for almost all of my tasks. Nowdays i'm using it as a wifi modem.

terrible, terrible phone. The only reason I got stuck with it was that my old, reliable Samsung got smashed to bits and I needed a new phone for work ASAP. HTC Desire was the only one I could walk away with for free on my plan. That was in Oct. 2015. First issue: my cheek switches the phone onto airplane mode when I'm in a call. Unforgivable behaviour for a phone. And since Dec I've been having battery life problems (some days it drains in about four hours even with the phone on airplane mode and me not using it AT ALL, other days it's fine despite me browsing for hours) and now it has switched itself off (despite 70% battery power) and refuses to reboot. I'm told this is a common software issue. If I had the money for a new phone I would run this one over with my car.

I bought Htc Desire cellphn worth Rs. 24k.. it worked well for first 8 mnths. Aftr that It started showing me camera error..n later systm error.. it strtd switching off.. ultimately it was cmpltly dead.. i contcted the sellr.. he sent me to servic cntr.. n my phn was sent to the compny.. compny took all its intrnal parts as well as screen and gav me an invc of repairs worth rs 20k.. it was undr warranty.. n now my phn is nothn bt a garbage.. most most worst phn n worst company ever.. do no purchase these cellphones othrwise u will regret..

well there if you have problems with this model, most likely it is a hardware bug. mine had it and I send it htc and they repaired it without cost. of course this was four years ago and since then no problems.

I had bought HTC desire 620 model , it was worked fine 1st 5month after that it was hanging,and getting switched off, and here I observed without (data)network it is working , once we opening net or data on , it suddenly getting hanging or switched off , phone dialer not working when is net on , once switched off net or data , then it takes time 10 to 15minutes for phone recover, I went service center they did software change , then it was worked fine one week, then again same problem repeat so kindly suggest what Will do, it was 7months old,

I bought mine at the end of the march 2010 and I am still using it :D I ve accidentaly dropped it many times, but mobile still holds together. I must admint that the construction is really solid. So far without any covers, the screen is as good as new, almost no scratches. Battery is relatively in a good shape. It can power the phone for about 20h with wifi and a day and half without. I have custom rom with app2sd (it was the only way how to overcome phones small internal memory) and about 100 apps installed. No lags noticed =D
