confused about htc salsa and htc desire,which one 2buy??

this is my first Android phone and I do like it a lot. It's obviously not the best out there but it works perfectly for me - I love the little trackpad, perfect for correcting errors in typing or putting your cursor in a specific spot without tapping the screen twenty times. I also love the tactile home, menu, back, search - but it could be just because I have fat fingers and tap the wrong places sometimes.
I have had problems with the phone - I actually had to replace my original one because of a sensor issue: During normal in-call operation, the screen turns off when it's at your ear to prevent accidental taps and then turns back on when you bring it down in front of you - my sensor stopped working so I wasn't able to hang up without pulling the battery. Also, it has very little internal memory and a lot of stock applications that are set to auto-update, therefore space runs out VERY quickly. I fixed this by uninstalling all updates to programs I don't use and unchecking the auto-update box in the market. Obviously you could eliminate this problem by rooting it, but I didn't want to go that route.
Overall I really like the phone - it's been a wonderful little device. Hope this helps someone :-)

This phone can be updated to 2.3 (GB).
And this is one of the few awesome android phones because of high pixel density, bug-less ROM & satisfactory camera efficiency.
Battery performance is not that much good (as usual for hTc).

sees, 30 Nov 2011URGENT request I have SD card problem...(unexpected error ... moreyou can remove your SD card & put it in SD card slot at your PC, transfer all data from SD to PC then put it again in your phone then format it. After format remove it again in sync. data from PC to SD card then place it in your phone.

go into settings media / storage and change sd card to storage only then win 7 will see your phone as a flash drive.
