How can I transfer a photo from the phone to a pen drive? When I connected to my computer (windows 7) it indicated that I have to install a driver.
How can I get this driver? I have no accompanying CD?

if u hammer ur games etc ur battery is gonna go mega fast, so cool it on the games a bit if u want to save battery

buy a class 10 sd card. download starburst ROM from XDA Dev Forum. partition your sd card 1024mb ext4 and FAT32 for the remaining. you will have an internal memory of 1gb. thanks to droidzone

its one the best phone evver. my battery lasts 4 days and i talk to my girlfriend for 2 hours every day. plz stop posting negative comments.

is 2.2 the highest the Desire can go? I'm having problems with mine and was suggested to upgrade, but apparently I can't?

I love this phone. i had Iphone and blackberry but this one i really love. using it with an android is a plus. picture quality is great because i take pictures of book pages i can't take out from the library. the screen is so wide. the downside though is the battery life gets easily drained.

Manuel, calibrate the battery. Google calibrate HTC desire battery. Mine went from 6 hours to 18.
1. connect the phone to the charger with the phone powered on, and allow the phone to charge until the notification LED is green, indicating the device is fully charged.
2. Disconnect the phone from the charger, and power it off.
3. Reconnect the phone to the charger with the phone powered off, and allow the phone to charge until the notification LED is green.
4. Disconnect the phone from the charger and power it on.
5. Once the phone is powered completely on, power it off again and reconnect it to the charger until the notification LED is green.
6. Disconnect the phone, power it on, and use it. You need to use this sequence only once.
Sounds complex but worth it.

i have this phone for a month. i notice the life of the battery is getting weaker and weaker as time goes by. any suggestion?? i really love the phone, so i want to keep it rather to buy another one. do i need to turned off some applications? or either buy a new battery??

how u people downgrade firmware ?... I'm in 2.3.3 official firmware.. . I didn't have any options to root it ... if I do downgrade only I can use unrevoke method root... help me please I need top root my desire.. ...

How the f%@k do they claim 360 hours standby time on battery? Mine is less than 12 months old and did the normal full charge/drain/full recharge at beginning & I'm luck to get 2 days standby out of it. That's 48 hours not 360. Absolutely bullshit. If you use the browser, you're lucky to get a full day out of it. Talk time is nowhere near specs either. On a great signal here so not pushing to get out. My old Nokia went for days on browser & talk time. The one & only HTC I'll ever buy. Thank God the contract is almost over! Good riddance to rubbish!

I'm back to froyo from three days after 2 months with 2.3 due to a problem with Arabic language. my desire has noticeably become slower especially while opening graphics or managing applications, but with more stable performance than 2.3, I'm happy for that & advice all users who faced the same problem after upgrading to do the same u wont regret it :)

I`m uber happy with this phone. Bought in UK got Amoled screen. Never dropped. got 2.3 (Gingerbread ROM) Official. changed few stuff. Battery working 2 days. If you change launcher it will work smoother than many phones.
