It is an excellent phone ..the battery back up is really good ..its worth to purchaseit.

I was also choosing between HTC Desire 500 and Samsung Galaxy S II Plus, and I took HTC, because it is newer, looks better and if you really compare the specs, HTC is a bit better. Although the Samsung GSII Plus came out recently, it is still kinda outdated. HTC is brand new and there will be many updates to come. I'm really pleased with the phone. For a mid-range one, it is really a great device. So if you don't know what to choose, think if you want a good-old-classic (a newer version of a classic) or something more modern and innovatiove.

What should i choose between the desire 500 and the samsung s2 plus? From what i've seen they're pretty much the same regarding specs. Also, how does the desire 500's quad-core processor compare to s2 plus' dual-core?

I desparately want to know if HTC desire 500 supports Miracast(Screen mirroring).I know it supports DLNA(Media files can be displayed on TV wirelessly) but exact screen mirroring is as far as I know is only possible if it supports Miracast based on Wifi-direct.HTC desire 600 specs shows it supports Miracast but HTC Desire 500 specs no where seen mentioning about wifi-direct or miracast.Please somebody help me clear my confusion if they have practically used this feature on HTC 500.
