I bought HTC Desire 500 recently after lot of deliberation, infact I exchanged by HTC Desire X as it was in HTC (14 Days return policy) :)
And after unveiling my New HTC desire 500, it has not stopped to amaze me with spectacular performance in all imp. aspects. Brilliant photographs, smooth interface and maneuverability..Just Loving it each passing day..
Personal advise for my friend who is confused just like me after reading all the misleading comments on various review sites..
GUYS..Desire 500 is Must have & Gr8 Value.

I had a question..screen specs for HTC 500 show its TFT capacitive touch and since you have used samsung s3 too, its super AMOLED, did you find any difference in the look and feel of the interface between both. -i cannot change camera image resolution
-cannot modify the fixed home panel / i would prefer to put photos widgets on background (not available) instead of topics news forever
-cannot manually lock my phone
-cannot control what i wanna do with the power key
-far sounds are not captured well by video

aditya, 21 Oct 2013plz tell me which one is better htc desire 500 or sony xper... morei believe xperia sp is much bttr device.. review shows that it can handle graphic intensive games as it has adreno 320 gpu vs the adreno 203 of desire 500..
also the on board memory is 8gb(5.8gb user memory) vs the 4gb on board of desire 500.
