i just got my htc 601 yesterday and im in love. i got it from fido and the guy was very informative. just the phone was 300 dollars but i used the standard plan and got it for 50 dollars. i got it in the two days where i'll get my 50$s back in three monthes so bascically i got the phone free! i also got a free case and screen protector. i have seen many reviews and i didnt expect much out of the 601. however, i have to say this phone is EXTREAMLY good for the price i paid. the design is very nice and screen is very crisp and clear. but there are some minor annoying things, first is youtube videos. they arent in HD quality. ive noticed that internet supports FLASH WOOPWOOP! very happy with that. the sound is amazying but ringtones are... meh.

what does dualsim means for 601..?when sim1 is on a call what is the status of sim2 ? it can receve call or will be inactive for the time sim1 is on a call?

Poor... moretry to switch off wifi, set screen on automatic, power saving on... mobile data off.. If you have all turned on together, well, good luck to find phone, that will last more than 1/2 day..

Poor battery life. lasts half day only.
Does anyone have similar issue.? still have warranty, can i go service center for replacement or is this permanent issue for this phone. Anyone have idea..

I own that phone for a month now. First impressions - I had Nokia before, and was afraid of short life of smarphone battery. But it is not so bad at all! If using phone switching off things when not needed, it can survive three days(yes, when job is done on computer, and phone only for calls and sms, screen brightness low, power saving mode on)! Well, I suppose those, who are taking 8 pictures while waiting in row in McDonalds, and then taking and posting 32 pics "how I ate my fries" on facebook, legbook, and whatsoeverbook through data plan, well, things won't be so nice anymore. Average for me is 1,5-2 days. Well, there are boring days with lots of gaming. Battery is near dry, when I'm coming home..
It would be nice, if I could adopt Blinkfeed on local news channels.. Not figured it out yet.

India got the dual sim version but specification same as single sim version like qualcomm 1.4GHz dual core, 8GB internal and LTE. Acording to htc india.
