Tcool, 04 Sep 2013LOL! We are talking of only Android here dual core vs quad ... moreDesire 601 uses snapdragon 400 cores compared to the Desire 600 S200 cores.
even if the 600 has a quadcore proc the S400 proc of the 601 is still better, do the Antutu and compare for yourself!
Also the S200 cores uses A5 tech and the S400 cores on the 600 i think utilizes the faster A7 tech.
correct me if i'm wrong.

Those having battery issues, I just discovered a solution that really works just follow these few steps:
                          1. Please turn off the phone.
                          2. Then briefly press the Power button to turn on the phone.
                          3. While the phone powers on, press and hold the Volume down button until phone loads the OS and "Safe Mode" should appear on the lower left part of the screen.
                          4. Leave the phone for about 5 minutes to allow it fully boot into safe mode.
                          5. Hold down the power button and then select restart to reboot into the normal mode.

And thats it! You would notice your battery life is better. You may have to repeat this process though if for any reason you switch off, restart or power off your phone or if the battery runs out. Its a pain but it really works, try it out and see for yourself.

first thing that i've noticed after the update is the speaker, not as loud as before but it still does the job. other than that, everything is good. for a mid-ranged phone, i give it a 2 thumbs up:)
