Its very cheap mobile phone, can't exchange files with wi-fi firect & can't exchange .apk file with bluetooth. Memory space is also very low. Never buy this phone.
Only camera quality is good & another all features are nonsence.

I've been using HTC 616 for over 5 months, it woorks really well with it's camera and speaker.....not the best......but powerfull enough.......
i don't know why there are so many people told that it's not worth it to buy this phone....i think it's just bullsh*t....
the jellybean works perfectly fine....with it's octacore.....smooth.....
it's minor....just lacked of internal memory

never buy this smartphone for those reasons :
this phone has got android 4.2
and will never get updates because of the small internal memory (4gb), also you can't install a lot of apps because of it too
go for galaxy s3 neo,it has got a super amoled screen with a 720p resulotion, android 4.4.2 kitkat, 1.5gb of ram and 16gb of internel storage (11.5gb)

Hello,htc has released kernel source (v4.4.2) for htc desire 616,does this gives any hope concering the kitkat update ?

Nice phone but battery is very poor,
