Hey guys! I had faced some sound problem with HTC desire 816. I don't know if I'm the only one that face this problem...
But sincerely I need you guys to help!
Sometimes the sound can't be control by pressing the 2 button while sometimes the phone appear boomsound on top but the sound only come from the top speaker only!!
Sometimes when I'm playing music and leave my phone on a table,at first it's playing with boomsound but after a while it suddenly no more boomsound but at the top of the phone still remain the boomsound icon!
There's no problem when I plugged in earphones
I 've when to the setting and change those sound volume but it can't work

This is an fantastic phablet to use .

, Hi frds. Pls clarify the following. There are single sim and dual sim version in HTC 816. As per this site, single sim version has 4G & 42 mbps internet speed and dualsim has 14.4mbps and doesn't Hv 4G. Some of sellers like mobile store and poorvika are claiming this daul sim version also has 42mbps speed. is it true?. is single sim version available in market? Where I can buy if available?

Posting this after one week of using desire 816 continuously
DEsire 816 vs grand 2
Screen-htc is having slcd 2 and its screen luks much better than grand's tft screen in real life...
U wont see any pixelation
It appears crystal clear
Camera- both of them are having amazing picture quality and htc is having an edge due to large pixel count
Performance-here htc is faster than grand 2 due to better RAM management
Regularly on htc u see 600mb/1.3gb is used
But on grand 2 1gb/1.4gb is used
Battery-both of them are good
If it can last a whole to a teenager like mr then it can easily last more than a day to others(for desire 816)
Luks-obviously htc is a clear winner here
Speakers-again htc is a winner here
Gaming-i can play fifa 14 and asphalt 8 on both of them smoothly w/o any lag
So my recomendation is htc desire 816 it qorth every bucks u pay
Overall a true value for money

Hey i am using this smartphone past 1 and half month i have to see htc asden and great job by launching phone at reasonable price. This is my second htc 4 i was a second person in my friends group and first in my family 2 on htc phone my old phone was htc one v . I would recommend every one to purchase this phone has any phone from htc because this phone goodand userfndly
Have been using this phone from past one and off i could see this is and best phone you can get at this price and battery life is good if you and normal user battery gonna give an whole day, n if ur an heavy user it gonna end up by 10 hr, display is good... But not so visible in heavy Sun light, speaker is an super, camera is good... Its clear..., and never faced an lags performance is goof.

themanishadv, 16 Aug 2014This phone is superb but only two problems, first one is ve... moreBro first of all get ur mind settled and speak out true.I am currently using it for near around 3 months and i havent faced any problem with camera works superb low light is bit dim.The most worst thing is its backpart gets scratched very easily even the camera glass got scratched.Otherwise great phone for the value.

Had my new phone two day. Very pleased especially with the boom sound speakers on the front and the HD videos and great camera The size of screen is much better for my failing eyesight. It measures 5.5inches horizontally but 6 inches diagonally! Everything else is a good standard. Just worried about one thing. the internal memory is 8GB and already I have only 2GB left. I hope that is enough to last and I will be transferring some apps to SD card. Overall very pleased

I am getting an error while updating my apps from play store that it has insufficient memory. I have deleted or moved everything that can be moved but it's not working out still... Can someone help.
