Guys I need help
last night i charged my phone and put it on extreme power saving mode. That was at 2 am, in morning at 10:30 Am it was at 87%.. Now as soon as i moved it back to normal mode. My phone went from 87% to 70% in an hour. I just made 3 calls of short duration.
Kidly help me guys is this normal?? My phone is still in replacement period. Should i try to replace it?? Please help me. Thanks

hi guys i hv purchased last month htc desire 816.and ima happy with over all performence . i didnt notice any issue in my phone ... camera both front and back excellent .. design excellent ... battery backup great ( pl. use power saver mode )smooth touch ... nice built quality... thax to htc 4 such a nice phone ....

plss go for xperia z which is far better than this shitty phone only 8gb memory low ppi and z is water proof so dont waste yoir money in this

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2014My phone working is very good but battery life is small ple... moreyes,battery should be 3,000.but 2600mah battery should give enough backup to run it for a day.It totally depends on your usage.I always stay connected with internet,watch some videos,less play games and I set screen brightness to minimum to 15% In room, and around 45% outside.so even 2600mah is enough for me

Did anyone installed nfs mw13 in 816?
If so,just tell me how to install sd data for it.
Whenever I am extracting and pasting, some files are not getting pasted in destination path. Is there any other option or I need to download entire data only via WIFI?Reply ASAP.

Hello everyone
I had HTC one x,my father has s3 and my brother opted for note 3 after using iphone 4.After much thinking I went for desire 816.I use my Phone for hardcore gaming and music.And please do not believe some so called reputed sites declaring that this phone is just adequate for gaming,it is more than adequate for ANY GAME.I installed fifa14,shadowgun dead zone and asphalt 8 and had no problem whatsoever.And do not go by benchmarks this phone spent lag at all and handles game without hiccups.I am literally fuc**** everyone in shadowgun.
AND DO NOT JUST BUY THIS PHONE on my
recommendation.GO AND TRY FOR YOURSELF.
I was going for iPhone5s or m8 before buying this but my friend(who owns desire 816) recommended this.I was ignorant and thought that only top end phones are good for gaming and music.I was most certainly wrong.Ofcourse m8,s5,z2,iPhone 5s are all good but they do nothing that this Phone doesn't .In my opinion they are equal but just beacue they are charged at a premium price we think they are superior(thats what I thought).Even my brother says that his note3 is good but not superior to desire 816 and asks me to swap phones.
Briefing it up(BUY IT BUT DO TRY FOR YOURSELF BEFORE BUYING)
Pros:-
1)Excellent music.(speakers are great but with earphones its best .period.one x 's music was loud but not clean,iphone's music is clean and loud but is a bit cold (lacks emotion),samsung's music is no match for HTC or apple.
2)Great camera.(note 3's camera is 10% better than this).I am satisfied with it.Amazing daylight pics but low light is not good.Frankly be it note 3 or iphone low light performance is muddy.Both note 3 and iPhone tops desire 816 in video quality but stills are equally good in all of them).
3)Gaming- Fuck benchmarks.This Phone and note3 both plays above mentioned games exactly the same.Maybe two years down the line its processor shows signs of aging but who keeps a Phone for more than 2 years.
4)This Phone looks great.I like the looks of one x,LG g3,nexus 5,iPhones,Samsung but I must say that this phone looks and feels more premium than LG and Samsung.(one advise ,use mat lamination on back panel,it will look like leather and looks great)
5)Amazing battery.
Cons:-
1)bad stock earphones.Horrible.
Better buy a good pair of earplugs.I use jbl j33 and Sony mdr.Both sound amazing.This phone's audio quality is my favorite part.
2)Less storage space but I had a 16gb card already:)
I am grateful to my friend for recommending this phone as I was going for rs.40000-50000 phone but saved quite a lot(Got mine for rs. 23600).And the thing is this Phone is no less than top ends and I don't want gimmicky features that I don't use.
Highly recommended but do try for yourself before buying.

I was using my HTC 816 from past 15 days from 3 days back when phone was kept at night the phone will turn off because the battery was completely drains even at night there is 46% of battery is remains when I kept it. and at day time it cannot happen s guys pls pls tell me anybody else who are facing this or I got defective one or else give me suggestions pls

Finally got mine white desire after a month of waiting from MGF mall in Gurgaon.The only thing disappoints me is the internal memory which is filled 4.69/8.00 GB.HTC should give atleast 4GB.but its ok cause I'm not a heavy gamer,just play small size games like temple run and angry birds,not like Asphalt,GTA,dead trigger.so I hope its not gonna bother Me in future.

Keyboard language selection sometimes disappear so I have to go to settings to manage languages again ... This happens often ... Does anyone have this problem ???

just wana ask u guys, did anyone of u purchased a " GadgetShieldz™ Full-Body Invisible Protection Film" from Ebay....
does its worth buying, and feed back of it.. even i wana purchase 1 for me, just cunfused a bit..
